Great value for the money
I installed these on my 95 Safari Serengeti motorhome. Like many other reviews, the pinout was not correct, my lowbeam harness on the vehicle was: | _ | Lowbeam+, Highbeam+, Ground-, and the highbeam was: | | Highbeam+, Ground-, where the grounds-, lowbeam+, highbeam+ were in wrong headlamp connector pin positions on both. My suggestion for the manufacturer might be to simply leave the wires free and not latch them into the connector body (just include it on the side), and let the user snap them into the connector in the correct orientation for their specific vehicle as needed. I used a connector pick tool to release the terminals from the headlamp side connector body, and I snapped them into the connector again in the right terminal orientation. Then they wouldn’t need to include a pigtail harness (unless the user wanted to use that pigtail harness to permanently splice it into the vehicle harness in case they desired to leave the LED headlight connector in factory orientation)… That’s just my take. This is not a big thing at all, anyone with a little common sense can figure out how to get this going. Simple headlight light test lets you know you have the wires all right in the end.Other than that, installation was a breeze and the lights work great, they make the vehicle look more modern, the lowbeams are very controlled with a nice beam spread and cutoff, highbeams are 3x brighter than lowbeam (with the 4 fixtures ganged up on highbeam) and light up the road extremely well. Time will tell on longevity, other reviews here seem to indicate these 4×6 LED fixtures will last a long time. I did buy 8x just so I have some spares laying around (in case later this style becomes hard to find, or the design of it changes)…All in all, I believe these are a great value for the money so far.

Great upgrade for an old vehicle.
The original head lights on a 1985 Suburban leave a lot to be desired. In the past I tried upgrading them with HID lights that were not much better, if at all. These Z-Offroad LED headlights are a huge improvement! They offer a bright, very well focused light beam. They now light up the road like a well designed, much newer vehicle. The HID lights I had previously would burn out the factory high beam dimmer switch, but I have had no such problem with these LED lights. I did have a little trouble installing them correctly. It turned out I had to rewire the plug to match the factory wiring. I’m very happy with these lights and I highly recommend them to anyone wants a solid upgrade to their old 4×6 headlights of the past.

These are an ok replacement for the failing Chinese sealed beams, read on……………….
Z-OFFROAD 4pcs 60W 4×6 Inch LED Headlights DOT Approved Rectangular H4651 H4652 H4656 HUPDATED REVIEW 0905 2024The lights themselves continue to be good, bright, send a bright horizontal band across the road, the bright light sends a beam forward like it is supposed to.These lights are great.BUT———-The connectors, the blades that connect to power, are terrible.OK, in MOST cases, the wiring for the 3 blades is incorrect for US cars. You have to get an adapter to correct the problem, cheap enough, but made of the SAMETERRIBLE BLADES.The blades are very thing, I am thinking for a specific female socket, however, I am having troublewith those too.You will end up with intermittant connections or no connection at all.when the connections are good, the lights are very bright, just what we want, but those blades are thinenough to lose connection to the power socket and the lights go out or light a 1/2 power (both leds lit from series ckt).THE FIX, there are two.To completely eliminate this problem, you can replace the plugs with new automotive lighting plug/sockets. The ones that come with these lights are terrible. It’s worth the effort as the lights are very good.If you don’t mind messing with the blades that come with the lights and adapters, here is whatI did, which so far has worked. The blades are very thin, about 1/3 of what normal headlight blades are. The OEM car lighting socket ismade for that thicker blade to make good contact.I ended up having to bend this thin blade length wise (from tip to base down the middle) to make theblade “imitate” the old headlight blade thick ness. Then insert the now modified (bent) blade into the socket, with the high mid point toward the metal contact in the socket. You might have success.Since the problem is thickness, it is possible to add a shim to push the blade onto the socket contact or add some solder on the thin blade to correct.I am trying the bending in the middle of the blade from tip to base, and so far it is working. if this fails, I will replace the plugs and sockets with OEM replacements. The lights are worth the effort, they are (so far) excellant and everything I wanted to replace the short life sealed beams we get with the label (made in china). Those new sealed beams only last a year or two before the seals leak and water gets inside the enclosure, hence, why we want to replace the sealed beam with an LED replacement.Hope this was helpful.I agree, for what these lights cost, the electrical connections should be much much better then what we are getting, but the adapters have the same crap terminal blades that you have to mess with.Once again, the light itself, I have not one complaint with. they are great. The electrical connections, not so much.End of UPDATE240918 1055-My 1986 pick up has the sealed beam that was common for that year. My truck has the 4 beam system. The filament is inside a glass envelope, which has a glass lens sealed onto the glass body. The seals would last the life of the bulb.BUT RECENTLY, with in the last 10 years, those seals fail, air, moisture, water gets inside the glass enclosure and the bulb fails within a couple years.I am in the process of restoring this truck and those bulbs had to go.I chose these LED headlights in the hopes of a longevity of life now that the old faithful sealed beams can no longer be depended on.The bulbs are sent as a set of 4 in this kit. It includes an adapter for each headlight (more on that in a moment) and is packaged in foam. It would be difficult for something to damage this item while being shipped.ELECTRICALLY SPEAKING ….The blades on the plug are much THINNER than the blades on the sealed beam. This may, and probably will, cause a problem for connections as the female connection is now bent open to the size of the original blade on the sealed beam. Some tell you to replace the OEM socket. I was able to bend the thin blade to make better contact. Depends on the quality of your car equipment if you can pull this off.NOW ELECTRICALLY, the pins are wired slightly differently than OEM. You will need a voltage meter to work this out so it operates correctly. THIS IS WHY they include the adapter, so you can adjust the blades as needed. AGAIN, the blades on the adapter are very thin compared to the sealed beam blades so heads up on that as well. The bulb is wired with a GROUND, and the lights are switched with 12v DC to a High beam blade and a low beam blade. Some cars switch with the GROUND side and you will have to make something up to make that work for you. It can be done, just a bit more work.FITTING TO THE CAR is pretty much the same as installing the sealed beam. they are the same size as the old sealed beam bulb and fit in the headlight bucket in the same manner. The stainless frame that holds the bulb in the bucket fits exactly the same. If you are installing on an older car which uses those old screws with the phillips head, I recommend you look here on Amazon and get the TOREX screws used by JEEP. They have a much less potential to strip when trying to get them out.I also recommend coating the screw with grease or vaseline to prevent rust from starting and making the screw pretty much unuseable.Once installed, check operation for low and high beams. They line up really close to the original sealed beam area so require little to NO adjustment. The bulbs are PROJECTOR style bulbs. What this means is they depend on a small chip for the light source and even though are designed NOT to blind on coming traffic, they will still project a very sharp beam. Don’t be surprised if you are flashed by on coming traffic. The light is bright white, projected in a flat pattern, does a good job lighting the road in front of you, depending on how you adjust them. The front lens is plastic, not glass. This is not a bad thing unless you have kids pounding on the headlights of your car/truck. They will fade as all plastic lenses do but can be cleaned up again, but this will take many years and this is not uncommon with plastic lensed cars today.INSTALLATION is not direct replacement electrically.I say this because of the need for the adapter and because of the thin blade that they use. Most will be able to get by with them. The lights look good when installed and emit good light for driving.Noting the ABOVE observations, I recommend this light.I do not know the seller and I did NOT receive any money or product for my random review.240318 1626
Great quality –
Extremely bright
These lights are excellent. They are bright and were easily adaptable to several different situations. There was also good directions. A huge change from the stock lights on my Kenworth.

JRB –
High quality lights for the price. Low beam lights up ditches well and has a definite cutoff to avoid blinding other drivers. High beam will knock your socks off
Zacch Vandenhurk –
Bought these lights after reading the reviews. I was a but hesitant because the price was to good to be true. Put these on my 2012 Kenworth T800. Followed the instructions for proper pin out. Badaboom! These lights are a massive fraction of the cost of JW Speaker Headlights and they are brighter, they shoot farther and are darn right an amazing product!!
