Color seems a little dull but small price for such convenience.My charge port does not work anymore so 2019 F-150 required to be plugged in for Sync operation. This fixed that perfectly. Great product, fits in cramped USB port without any interference.

Works great when it does
I really want to love this, the previous software update left much to be desired. The common issues were occasional blackout screen after ignition start up, persistent, lagging of audio after hanging up a phone call, and screen freezing. Any text messages received, comes with the notification audio, but no on screen message. Even with all the issues, Apple Music would play consistently and reliably. All of the manual buttons of the radio would work regardless of the screen being completely frozen.After software update, issues improved and the above mentioned happens rarely. The audio lagging after ending a phone call still happens, but skipping the song will solve it. It seems that as long as the device stays cool I have a fewer issues. But still sometimes I have to remove it from the USB port and restart. After update, text messages appear with on screen notification, and screen seems responsive with very little lag.Ultimately works great when it does, still not 100% reliable, and if it was my personal vehicle and not a work vehicle, these issues would not be acceptable and I would just replacing entire head unit.I am optimistic that future software update updates may solve the above issues.

Best adapter so far
Initially I was going to give this adapter a 3 or 4 star review because it cut out as much as the other adapters u have used. But then I noticed you can connect it via Bluetooth and WiFi simultaneously and the signal gets even stronger. There is only 1 place around town that the signal cuts out briefly, not sure why.The size is great to plug in and forget about it. Boot time is reasonable, it might be slower due to my older stereo system but seems faster than the others I’ve tried. Song changes pretty much instantly when I use the steering wheel controls to change tracks and the audio responds quickly as well.The build is solid metal and I have noticed that it doesn’t get hot like the similar dongle I had did. It stays cool and I have not had any issues with disconnecting. At the current asking price, it is more than worth it to pick up. I have been using it every day in my car for over two months with no major issues. Definitely recommend!
