Works with any phone…super flexible!
I like the fact that this works with multiple phones. It allows my wife to drive my truck and use the “Smart Screen” with her Android phone.I’ve been looking for an inexpensive way to use my cell phone with my existing equipment, and this did the trick. What I like about it:- Setup took minutes- Bright screen, smooth touch- Love the portrait/landscape flip- Mount holds tight even on bumpy roads- CarPlay connects instantly

Very convenient CarPlay system. Excellent.
Very useful CarPlay setup. Extremely easy to setup and no need to replace entire stereo system to get a good CarPlay system. Works perfectly and now I no longer need to pick up my phone while driving.Wish I had found this sooner.

Better than I thought
This works alot better than I thought. You can mount it to an air vent or a suction cup. After than you plug it in with the power cable and it boots right up.You can connect it to your cars audio via Bluetooth, fm radio or the aux cable. So if your aux port or Bluetooth is damaged this might come in clutch for you. I tried the fm transmitter for fun and it sounded legit. The screen is lightweight and doesnt really lag. I couldn’t get the ok google or hey siri to work. I tried with both an android and iphone. But everything else seemed fine.

easy install connect
My car doesn’t have CarPlay, but this device is easy to install. Setup is simple, too—it connects instantly as soon as I turn on the car’s power. It makes viewing maps very convenient.

A must buy

Would not buy
Works ok when it works. It disconnects all the time out of no where for no reason. Also there is a obnoxious buzzing sound that comes through the speakers at all times and goes up with volume. I have tried a lot of settings and other devices to narrow it down but it seems like it’s the unit causing it

Fast and easy to use
My wife has a Saab and there is no way to replace the factory radio and keep the car working. So, I want to get here an Android Auto radio for her car that can add to the car features. I also want it to be easy to use.I have an advanced dual-din CarPlay / Android Auto radio in my SUV. It is complicated because there are multiple modes. Like most aftermarket radios the native mode has many features and settings. Then, to connect it to your phone you go into CarPlay or Android Auto. And that becomes the default for your radio. But if you want to change any settings for the system you have to exit CarPlay or Android Auto and revert to native mode. That setup is too complex, especially when you’re driving. This external device avoids that. While there are a few native settings when it starts up, you choose CarPlay or Android Auto and that’s it. Everything can be done while you’re in the connected player. It’s less distracting and very intuitive to use.It also starts up really fast. Startup is a common complaint for aftermarket connected radios. Some take several minutes to connect. This takes a few seconds. It’s hardly noticeable. Then, when you are using it, select functions, changing settings, using voice commands, or anything else, the response is immediate. No lag. No frustration. The radio can also be used for a backup camera. It does not come with the kit, but they are mostly universal and inexpensive. A camera is powered by the car’s reverse indicator lights, so it only goes on when you are backing up. A wire has to be run from the rear up to the radio for it to display.I like that this has a magnetic mount as one of the options. It connects to the air vent, so the radio is closer to you. It will also work with any standard magsafe mount. That makes sense if you already have one installed. You can put your phone away and let this device be you interface while you are driving. This is a better choice for simple and very functional driving features.
