2016 Gmc Sierra hmi 2.0. Installation took 20 minutes after a day of trying to figure out how to connect to it, off the main screen if you swipe left you’ll find more icons, now to get it to play audio I had to go to the settings menu (swipe left all the way) then you swipe bt car play. My factory buttons on steering wheel still works, the factory microphone still works. I did not use the supplied microphone. I havent figured out the screen mirroring feature yet… but I’ll be doing a tutorial on youtube shortly about the whole thing so people can easily figure it out.

2014 cadillac ats, works but missing some stuff.
I self installed this on a 2014 cadillac ats, its really simple if you follow the directions and look up a guid how to get to the radio and hmi2.0 modules, took me about 40min. I got mine to fit perfectly where the dvd player would be if i had one so i can still access the usb, sd card and the dip switches. The factory reverse camra still works too.The only isues i have is that the steering wheel buttons dont work, no skip and voice activation still gose to the oem service.Honestly i think its a worth it product as the other option is a $1200 hmi2.5 upgrade.

instructions were a little unclear at times. Wasn’t sure if this is an addition to my HMI module or a replacement turns out it was in addition to it, but besides that it works great definitely worth the buy.

Touch screen issues solved
2015 SilveradoIt sort of works but not as advertised. My touch screen doesn’t work after installing and it restarts randomly. The manual is not much help at all. I have several messages out to try and address the issue but have not heard anything back.SOLVEDI have found the issue the wiring harness has an issue. I cut open the CAN harness at the road top module and the purple wire where they are combined they were touching inside once separated it worked as designed see photo

The product seems to work well so 5 stars for that. The installation instructions leave a little to be desired. Videos mostly show Cadillac installation not pick-up truck installation. Components are the same but head units are in different locations. Took a couple hours so allow yourself some time. It was the upgrade that I wanted. Did not affect the use of all my other controls and original backup camera works as it should. Make sure all your connections are secure and locked in.
