Works great after a year.
Works as promised. I have had this device for over a year and it still works perfectly. Unsure why many people have issues. I would recommend.

Quick connection and zero lag
I’ve bought like 5 of these things. This is far and away the best. It usually connects in about 3-5 seconds though sometimes it takes up to 10. The setup process was easy though a little weird at first. Tried to activate carplay then realized it is android and connected properly. hasn’t tried it again since. It also has zero lag compared to all the others i’ve tried. skipping songs and such is on point with a wired connection. no issues with music skipping or anything like that either. All in all would recommend this over any others by a large margin.

Audio doesn’t always connect
Phone connects to bluetooth easily, a big improvement from having to plug the phone into the car each time. Doesn’t always connect audio, though. I have found unplugging it and plugging it back in helps resolve the issue. This happens about 40% of the time – would buy a different brand before repurchasing this.

Works Great
Works as it should and at a great price.However, it takes several seconds for the radio and adapter to sync and it triggers a “No connection” message on the radio. It works good once it connects, so it isn’t a huge deal.The only real issue I have is that, even though Android Auto connects through Wi-Fi, you loose the Bluetooth connection to the vehicle. I had to forget the vehicle Bluetooth in my phone to connect to the adapter. This is the case on the RAM Uconnect anyway.

Perfect functionality
People in the reviews have given this item some bad rep but honestly I’ve personally never had a problem with the CarPlay functionality whatsoever, however I cannot speak for the Android Auto part because I’ve never tried it. I’ve had one of these adapters for the past year or so and I’ve just recently bought another, and no problems at all.

Great! 2024 Santa Cruz Limited
Got this for my new truck that only has wired CarPlay (wireless came the following year). Older styles are much larger with a cord. I love that this is half the size of a usb stick. Connection when entering the vehicle has been fast and consistent. I haven’t gotten to test with video yet (need a mount) but I haven’t noticed lag from streaming music or video podcasts. Great price too
