So Far … So Good.
This is my 2nd Black & Decker *DustBuster* vacuum. The 1st one only lasted about a year.. it stopped charging so was no longer usable! The company was no help with the warranty on that one, f.y.i…. But I decided to try a newer version, just for the price point ($30.). I am not spending $100 on a handheld vacuum… I’m not that fancy. It just needs to work. This is wall-mounted – be prepared to mount the charger (two screws – it’s not difficult). The vacuum itself works good, sucking up anything I throw at it. I saw other reviews say that it doesnt handle water/liquids well… so I just won’t use it for liquids. I have a shopvac for liquids. This is for quick messes. This vacuum picks up cat food (whole pieces and crumbs), paper pellet cat litter AND clumping litter without issue! It also picks up cat furr easily. Its great for quick messes, in the house and even in the car. It holds the charge the entire time you need it (I’ve never had it run low). I love that its portable and I can use it outside in my vehicle. That saves me trips to the car wash (or dragging the big shop vac out). Overall, it works well. Yes I would recommend it, if your budget is under $35. It works. Its easy to empty and the filter is easy to clean.

WONDERFUL!!! Just like the Dustbusters from the 1980’s except lighter and more power. Since the late 90s I have been trying to replace our original Dustbuster with a series of poorly made and barely functional hand vacuums.I am thrilled with this vacuum. It’s lightweight, has powerful suction, and isn’t too noisy. The compact size makes it easy to store and easy to use. Cleaning out the debris is easy. It’s well made. Fingers crossed it lasts a good long time. Maybe I should by a second one now- so I won’t ever have to use subpar hand vacuums again.And yes this is a real review. Grandma of two messy grandchildren and a four month old puppy.

I Love this Product
Originally, I got a cordless to vacuum up cat litter from a Dirt Devil Model; till’ the motor burned out, but I wanted to keep this model for the kitchen. It does simple jobs like picking up crumbs, noise is tolerable, and power is okay for my 30 second needs. I wouldn’t trust the durability, but it does the job very well until you are ready to fully vacuum the area with a full size and more powerful vacuum…

Suction- 8Emptying- 10Versatility- 10Battery- 9Charger/mount- 10Overall a pretty decent handheld vac, does not have the best suction but it makes up for it in other areas, like picking up liquids and the reusable filter.It starts off pretty strong and gets a bit weaker during longer cleanups. I’d chalk that up to the battery/power delivery.The charger seems ok and has a light to show when its full. Could extend the overall battery health if this also cuts charging to the unit, not sure if that is the case.Mounting bracket is ok for me but could seem cheap to others. Definitely not strong enough for a car interior.

Helped a little bit. On carpet it was a little bit challenging. Maybe for peoples carpets or rugs it would be different. Mine are older styled and old-fashioned. It might help for surface. However, it was a little bit difficult to use. Maybe others will have a better experience but for me it did not work, but I am in novice when it comes to gadgets like this. I didn’t have a very pleasant experience. It didn’t break on me. Just didn’t do what I thought it would. I’ll take some ownership on that. Does charge well and but it didn’t work for me the way I’d like it. Maybe it would for another buyer.

The first BD wet/dry dust buster I bought in 1987. It lasted until 1992. No fault of BD. Our home burned down. So when we moved into our newly built home and started buying things. I bought another wet/dry dust buster. This time, yesterday after my dust buster couldn’t hold a charge. I knew it was time to buy another. Who wouldn’t buy another BD. Sure a few things have changed a bit over the 33 years. I really like how you just have to hang it up to charge without having to connect a cord into the front. I wasn’t sure if I would like having to hold down the power button the whole time you were vacuuming, but it’s an easy button to push. The extra attachments are a bonus. But every thing else is the same. Oh the foam is blue now, it used to be black. 😂 My husband laughed when I told him if this lasts as long as the last BD Dustbuster, we’ll be in our 90’s.I would have to say it has been a great buy. I’ve never expected it to have a long run time because I’ve only used it for crumbs on my cutting board. It picks up flour on the counter from baking. Being in the kitchen, you don’t worry about wet. I always pick up around the island floor where the kids make stuff.When I need the whole house vacuumed I bring out my big vacuum.

Live in uk, delivered to uk but product not suitable for uk as USA plug! Poor of Amazon to not flag that this is NOT suitable for uk. Had disposed of all packaging before I looked at adaptor. Not great.
