Money well spent
I like the way the UI works. Installing this made a big difference to how I feel about driving my car. My wife’s Samsung Galaxy connects to this without problems. Storage is spacious and will satisfy all but the most demanding users. RAM is about as good as you will get in this price range. I feel this was money well spent.

Garbage
Do not buy. Eq is garbage, unit will not allow any bass play through. Amp turn on doesn’t work you will have to splice into a 12v at ignition on in order for your amp to turn onAnd the back up camera display is a fuzzy grey and black like you need to adjust tv antenna. Overall the worst unit I’ve ever purchased.

A strong value upgrade if you want to modernize a 2008–2017 Lancer
Right out of the box, this Lancer-specific radio feels like a big upgrade. The 10.1” display is bright, sharp, and responsive, and once it boots up, Android 13 runs smoother than I expected from a 4-core setup. The 4GB of RAM definitely helps—apps open quickly, and switching between screens or pulling up CarPlay happens without noticeable lag.Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto work surprisingly well. The connection is quick, and once paired, it stays stable even on longer drives. Mirror Link is a nice backup option if you prefer a direct phone screen projection. The customizable home screen is something I ended up liking more than expected—you can arrange your most-used apps so the interface feels personal instead of generic.GPS navigation is reliable whether you’re using offline maps or streaming traffic info through WiFi. The built-in GPS locks on quickly, and having both online and offline capability is useful if you drive through areas with patchy service. Bluetooth calling and music are clear, and the FM/RDS radio doesn’t sound static-heavy like some budget units. The EQ-32 settings and optional AI DSP give you a lot of control over tuning the audio, and it actually makes a noticeable difference if you tweak it properly. The included backup camera is decent—wide enough to make parking easier and clear enough at night to be useful. Steering wheel control learning works as expected, and once configured, it feels close to OEM functionality.Compared to other Lancer aftermarket head units, this one stands out for the customization options and the higher-resolution display. A minor downside is that the AI DSP activation isn’t automatically included, which may disappoint some buyers expecting it out of the box.Overall, it’s a strong value upgrade if you want to modernize a 2008–2017 Lancer with wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, and a clean touchscreen interface. Best for drivers who want a big-screen experience, lots of personalization, and smoother app performance without spending on a high-end branded unit.
