Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto use Bluetooth + Wi-Fi transmission, unlike a direct USB connection. Because of real-time processing and signal conditions, you may notice:
Short connection time when starting the carMinor delay when switching songsOccasional reconnection
These are normal characteristics of all wireless systems.
Streaming apps (Spotify, Apple Music, Maps) also depend on your phone’s mobile data — weak signal may cause slower loading or buffering.
Designed for convenience over cables — automatic connection, cleaner driving, and a smarter experience.

Dual-band WiFi + Bluetooth 5.0 deliver a faster, more stable wireless experience
Enjoy smoother navigation, clearer calls, and responsive music control with optimized signal transmission and reduced interference.
Automatic pairing and reconnection make every drive effortless — no cables, no hassle.
Keep your factory controls exactly the way you like them.
Steering wheel controls, touchscreen, and voice assistants work seamlessly, delivering a familiar driving experience. Access maps, calls, messages, and music effortlessly — now fully wireless, with performance optimized for broad vehicle compatibility.

Best purchase, working well so far. Love that there are no wires hindering my driving space. Easy set up and my start up time is quicker now that I don’t have to plug in my phone to a cable anymore.

So far, so good.
So far, I have to rate this 5 stars, but also, I’ve been burned in the past.I tried one of these from another brand, and it failed after about a week–never could get it to work right again. This one presented another opportunity to try.I have a 2016 Miata Club with wired Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and it’s cool to have it except I really don’t like having to plug my phone in to get it on the screen…and the car is really small, and i don’t like having a super long cord hanging around either. It’s MUCH nicer to go wireless. This dongle (don’t know what else to call it) is small enough to be unintrusive for most vehicles, but in a Miata, everything is close together. When I plugged this into the USB slot, it actually covered the other USB slot. Thankfully, there were two short cables (one USB to USB female, and one USB-C to USB female) included in the package. I used the USB-USB female and plugged it in and started the car. Within a few moments, the screen popped up saying to connect my phone via bluetooth to the dongle, and it’s been great ever since. Now, I get in the car, start it up and usually before I’m putting it into gear to leave, whatever I’ve been listening to on my phone starts playing through the car speakers. Map quality is also great, there seems to be little to no lag, and it’s just been glorious!I don’t really like that the dongle is using the short cable, but if plugged straight into the car, it covers the second slot which I would like to keep free for other applications (charging my phone, perhaps–but if the phone doesn’t need charging, I don’t want to have it plugged in)But that’s really the only nit I would pick…and it’s not the manufacturer’s issue–they were thoughtful enough to include cables to adapt to consumer needs.I’m really very happy with this item

Worth the price
Works good and usually always connects automatically. I just have one problem with it disconnecting when I use the phone.

This adapter instantly upgraded my car’s infotainment system. Setup was quick, and wireless CarPlay connects automatically every time I start the car. There’s minimal lag when using maps or music, and calls sound clear. I love not dealing with cables anymore. The glossy black design looks sleek and doesn’t overheat. If your car has wired CarPlay, this is an easy and worthwhile upgrade.

I’ve reviewed a number of Carplay adapters and most are easy to pair with initially but many tend to fail shortly after, with occasional dropouts and difficulty connecting when the car starts. Not so with this adapter, which has worked flawlessly, and connects within seconds of the car starting. It’s a medium sized dongle with a vertical design so you’ll need some clearance around your USB port. The quality of the adapter is decent and when you plug it in for the first time, the instructions on how to connect it to your phone appears on your car’s display unit. Unfortunately these instructions also appear on the screen when you start the car without your phone nearby, and there’s no way to quit out of the instruction screen to use any other feature on the car’s display. You have to pull the dongle out. But that’s often the case with other brands too. All up, it’s a reliable adapter that connects quickly.

Unfortunately I was quite disappointed with this. First off the instructions were so badly written and hard to understand. I plugged it into the usb in my car and it came up with prompts on my car screen on what to do. After following all the prompts it didn’t work. It never progressed beyond the prompt screen. The connecter part was also burning hot when I removed it from the usb. I would not recommend this item.

This 2 in 1 wireless CarPlay and Android Auto adapter is a proper convenience upgrade if your car already has wired CarPlay or Android Auto. Plugged it into the USB port, paired it once, and now it connects automatically every time I start the car. No more stuffing around with cables every trip, which is a small change that makes daily driving feel a lot smoother.Connection has been solid using the 5G WiFi, with quick pairing and minimal lag. Maps load up fast, music streams without dropouts, and calls come through clearly. All the factory controls still work as they should, including the steering wheel buttons and voice assistants, so it genuinely feels like the original system, just without the cord dangling everywhere. It’s compact and easy to tuck away, and having both USB A and USB C cables included is handy. Just make sure your car already supports factory wired CarPlay or Android Auto, as this doesn’t add it if you don’t have it. For everyday convenience and a cleaner setup, it’s a little ripper.

I’ve reviewed several Android Auto wireless adapters, and this is one of the good ones – it just works.Initial setup and pairing was slow, as expected – you have to wait a good couple of minutes after powering on for it to be ready to pair via Bluetooth. Once that was done however it is very fast to reconnect each time I start my car – it is generally ready to go on the homescreen within 10 seconds or so.This model is nice and compact, with one tiny unobtrusive status light that won’t cause issues at night. This model does come with a USB A-> C adapter if you don’t decide on the native USB C version.
