I bought the Moto Watchdog Wired GPS Tracker for Vehicles several months ago.I also bought SAE Connector Cables, 16AWG, 2 Pin SAE Quick Connector.I hardwired the Moto Watchdog Wired GPS Tracker in the engine compartment of my Mustang, near the battery. I wasn’t sure it would work mounted in the engine compartment but it works beautifully. You may need your mechanic to wire it, takes 20 minutes.The phone app took a few minutes to figure out, to change pages you swipe lightly from the left edge to the right. Overall, the Tracker works beautifully and the maps are very clear and easy to follow. I plan to buy another for my Ridgeline. I highly recommend this tracker.

Fantastic even in the radio silent zone in WV
I bought this a year ago, functions perfectly in fact better than my phones cellular GPS which makes me hate my phone even more since it’s “flagship”. Even when I was in Westvirginia in the radio silent area it was generally still pinging every 40 miles which is insane (and probably illegal idk though) for that area. I sold the car so i havent yet installed in the new one yet because new one has it built in but will probably put it on for redundancy.

Best deal i could find for a tracker with no b.s. subscription. Speeding alerts are hit and miss, but seems to work better the more its used as far as accuracy goes.

Worth every penny!
I’ve been using this for a week now and am very pleased. Tracking and speed notifications are on point. I like that you can set up multiple geofences as well. I get notified when the car enters or leave school, home..etc. The unit is using the orange wire so we also get engine on and off notifications which is nice. Battery life won’t be an issue for us, it’s like set it and forget it! Plus NO SUBSCRIPTION FEE!! It was super easy to connect to my phone & my husbands, with the help of OUTSTANDING customer service to ensure the accounts were linked. Louis was quick to respond to my questions and jump in to help. This device blows Life360 app out of the water. Highly recommend!

Hardwire works great!
Wired unit works great. I have it hooked up to my cars fuse and have it hidden pretty well. Lets me know every time(can be a few minutes late) my car is on the move and when the trip is done. No subscription is nice and the app is very easy to use as well. I would recommend this to anyone especially the hardwired one as you don’t have to charge it. Lastly, the sleep mode works well as it has had no affect on my cars battery.

Love it/ Hate it
I don’t like giving this product a 3-star review because I do really like it.Install was easy. We bought the hardwire gps tracker. It tracks our vehicle and we know where it is at all times, how fast the vehicle is going, when it’s moving and when a trip has ended. HOWEVER, the only issue we are having and I don’t know why it’s doing this or if it is fixable but it will bounce and ping off locations. I don’t know if the black dots show the route the vehicle took or what. It’s confusing and sometimes frustrating. Would love to give it a 5-star if Moto Watchdog can help fix this or explain what is happening.
