saves my elbow
I added one of these pads to the door armrest of my Honda CRV. I had always found this armrest too hard to be comfortable and also a little too low. This added pad solves both problems for me. The adhesive strips hold it in place when the door is slammed shut but it also can be removed without leaving sticky residue or damaging the armrest.

These work great on my wheelchair armrests. They are slightly firm yet soft; much more comfortable than the armrests themselves.The non-slip backing ALMOST keeps them in place, but I kept knocking them off.
