I put it in my Suburu yesterday and it. worked fine. This simple device is easy to install and is attractive and functional.

Surprisingly strong little magesafe mount for quick setups
I picked this up because I wanted a cheap phone mount I could move between the car and the gym without dealing with adhesive pads. Although it comes with one if your dashboard has the bumpy textured plastic. The suction cup grabs hard on smooth surfaces and it’s stayed put for me on a windshield and a mirror, even with some bumpy driving. The magnetic hold is convenient since you can just snap the phone on and off one handed, and the ball joint makes it easy to get the angle right for maps or watching something. I wouldn’t take the “96 lbs” claim too literally, but the grip does feel stronger than the typical small suction mounts, I have a foldable phone with a case which makes it heavy and bulky and had no issues so far. Overall it’s a solid budget mount if you like MagSafe style convenience and you’re using it on a clean, smooth surface.
