Outstanding device and functionality!
I needed to replace my old FM Transmitter due to the LCD screen blacking out. I tried about 4 or 5 different brands and models before purchasing this one. OMG, best FM transmitter I ever owned! The volume is great, it has RANDOM mode which I can not live without. It works with my Bluetooth navigation and pauses the music when the directions announce. I do find that a bit irritating, but it only happens when I am in Card Player. In Bluetooth mode I can use my phones music program and it works normal as well as giving me control to stop, replay music with a button touch. You can turn it off by holding the button. It remembers where it was. I use an SD card but it can take a USB drive and it has a port for a jack also. It has USB charging ports built in, so I just plug my dash cam into it and you are good to go. My camera does give a little buzzing on the charger but otherwise on a clear channel there is virtually no noise. No fuss, no wiring just plug and go. Forget the rest, this is in my opinion the best one out there with random mode. For some unknown reason the manufacturers think this isn’t a necessary function… but they’re wrong.

Yes it has an off button!
This actually DOES have an off button! I tried 5 others that claimed to have an off button (so I don’t drain my car battery), but this one really does. Works great, easy to use and move.

I have an older vehicle (Ford Excursion) that has been kept in near mint condition. It has a premium sound system it just doesn’t have Bluetooth. I’m a 50 year old who’s not incredibly tech savy, but not tech illiterate either. I have had three previous Bluetooth transmitters so I could listen to music and make use of my iPhone features in the truck without having to upgrade the in dash system. The others were complicated, the display was dim hard to read and complicated, the connections were always weak and ultimately after a few months of use….they all broke. You had to unplug those devices from the lighter to power them off. This weakened the already cheap construction of the plastic plugins over several uses. Enough about all those. Enter this new device. I was searching Amazon for a replacement and reading reviews when I saw this device. It was very inexpensive. I’d paid $40-$60 for the last few that I’d purchased. I figured for the price Of this one I’d take a shot. I liked the look of it. I could not have been more pleased. This device is simple to use. The buttons are large and easy to manipulate, you can turn the device on and off without having to unplug it, the connection is strong, the display is very easy to see and the hands free phone function is on par with the OEM in my Escalade. For the price it is a no brainer. One neat feature is the device has two usb plug ins if your vehicle is light on ports. The Excursion has two plugins up front and one on each row, so it’s not much of an issue. One word of advice: make sure the volume on your phone is all the way up and your vehicle volume is at about 75% – You can easily control the volume from the device or use you steering wheel volume control. If the phone isn’t turned up it will be static on any fm frequency you try. Turning up the phone volume solved that issue immediately. It’s been otherwise A1 from day 1. I’ve been using it about a week. I could not be more satisfied. I’ve ordered two more for my other older vehicles that don’t have Bluetooth. The unit comes with a 12 month warranty. If you are looking for that quality and ease of use I was looking for…you don’t have to spend $40-$60 to get it. (I did…and they all broke). Pull the trigger. This may be right up your alley. Good Sound Quality
I was able to connect this to an empty channel right away. I called a couple people to test out. They said they heard me no problem. I heard them as well. However, when a call CAME IN from a caller, I was told the connection sounded like a tunnel or was garbled, so IDK. I do like that it’s a very easy set-up. I can charge my phone via it and adjust the arm to driver or passenger view. What I wasn’t aware of is that you can’t listen to the music still, once connected. And when a call comes in, you have to quickly switch to that channel on your radio in order to answer the call. That’s a bit frustrating. It’s a pretty basic unit and does just what it needs – to transmit your calls over the radio speakers, which is what I ultimately wanted, so … success!
