Are pressure washer pumps interchangeable?
Many pumps are. However, compatible replacement options do vary depending on your pressure washer’s engine shaft diameter & engine orientation, the original pump’s bolt pattern, and your engine’s horsepower.
What pump do I need if my shaft has a spline/gear instead of a keyway?
Your original pump was likely a strap-style (or bow tie) pump. That style isn’t made anymore. However, you can remove the spline and use your model number to find a replacement pump that you’ll install directly onto the shaft with a keyway.
Do I need a keyway for installation, and do your pumps come with one?
Our pumps do require a keyway for installation onto the engine shaft. If a keyway is pictured in the listing, it will come with one. If you need to purchase one separately, you can do so from our catalog.
Do I need to change the oil in my pump?
Many of our pumps don’t require oil maintenance, but some models do need oil changes. Generally, pumps with an oil vent port will need regular oil changes. Pumps without that port are sealed units and don’t need oil changes.

This is the EZ Front-Facing or Right-Handed (Non SX) Pump, which has the outlet facing the front. Please note it is not recommended to run any pressure washer pump above its maximum PSI rating. Doing so can result in damage to the pump (not covered by warranty) and/or serious bodily injury

My pressure washer had a bad pump, or so I thought. When I installed this pump it worked GREAT! Well worth the money. However, it did not fix my surging issue, but that’s not the pumps fault. Needs a carb. But I recommend it 100%

shipping box
The pump was just threw in the box and shipped, there was no bubble wrap protecting the threaded end of the pump, the threaded end was damaged. Had to take a thread chaser to fix the thread, should have sent it back put needed it for the weekend. Pump works great and was easy to replace.

The product is excellent. I was a little disappointed with ROP. Most items I shop for on amazon over $50.00 are offered with free shipping. By the time I paid for the pump, tax & shipping I could have purchased a brand new Troy Bilt 3000 psi pressure washer with a 160 cc (5 hp) Honda engine for less than an additional $100.00. And been using it the same day.

Old pump was mistreated by some contractors. I think they tried to run it without hooking up water.This swap was pretty easy and worked great. Really good pressure. Surprised it was $100, but it does work well.
