Not too big for petite frame
Just received. It’s the perfect size for my 5’2” petite frame, as it can be adjusted for firmness. After I inflated it and sealed the cap, the air quickly escaped. Thank goodness I read reviews, because one reviewer also struggled with air loss but discovered that the outer grey cap had to be pressed FIRMLY into place to stop air leaking. I tried again and it worked. Hopeful for my 13 hour flight this weekend. It’s very lightweight, and not too bulky when rolled up. I will say it’s a huge struggle to deflate, though. I’ve had to experiment with the button pushed in as well as released to see which was a better air release. I had to squeeze it into its carry bag – at least it should keep it from expanding in flight.

Works great as a neck pillow. Easy to inflate, deflate and clean
I picked this up as I am always wanting an extra pillow on airplanes. I have one for my neck, and one to sleep on, but after a long flight my back is stiff. I have not had a trip yet so I have been using this around the house and in my car. I tried the lumbar in the car, and it did not work so well with the seats as there is already lumbar support – it hyper extended my back. But, so far I am loving it as a neck pillow. I have some neck issues, and this fits perfectly with the round of my neck.Pros:- It is easy to compact and stores well- It is easy to add and remove air- It auto inflates, but you can add air by blowing in it if you want it more firm- I love that you can inflate it to different heights- It is very comfortable, esp since you can inflate it to right where you need- It is super easy to wipe clean.- There is a strap on it so you can attach it to your chair if you want. I found that useful in the car.Cons:- None so far.Though it only worked so-so in my car due to the seats, I have found this great as a neck pillow around the house. I look forward to trying it on an airplane. I am a personal trainer who does assisted stretch and I have been looking for a pillow that is easy to clean. This may double as a pillow (or I might get a second one!) for my clients as well since it is so easy to keep sanitary. Just ok.
I had a little bit of trouble figuring out how to inflate this. The directions were for clear, however, I felt like I was going to break it when I was pulling the tab open. Once I got it open inflating the pillow was very easy. When I put it on my chair, I needed to deflate it slightly for maximum comfort, and that was very easy to do with one hand while I was sitting in the chair with the pillow behind my back. It seems to be pretty good quality wise, and it comes with a drawstring bag for storage. It does seem to make my work chair a little bit more comfortable, but I can’t say that it relieves my back pain. I am not entirely sure that the band is wide enough to go around an airplane seat, but I have not tried it. Overall, it’s ok.

Supportive, comfortable lumbar pillow that is easily adjustable and perfect for travel. This Luxtude Inflatable Lumbar Pillow meets all of my needs. Lumbar support prevents my sciatic pain.The cylindrical shape and size nest comfortably in the sway of my back, offering support, whether in the car, my recliner, a dining chair, or out traveling. I love how easy and quick the pillow can be inflated and adjusted in fullness, as needed. The fabric is soft and feels smooth without rough edges. The materials and stitching are of nice quality and durable. I also love that the pillow deflates completely and rolls up compactly for travel or storage. I initially thought the waist strap was goofy, but I’ve come to love wearing it around the house as I move from chair to chair. Plus, I can wear it onto the plane without worry that I’ll forget it when we debark.On my first attempts to inflate the pillow, I could not figure out how to get the button to seal. Air kept escaping whether the push button was up or down. After many attempts, I finally figured out that the button does not have a tight seal in either the up or down position! It is the cap that needs to be snugly plugged that keeps the air from leaking out. The cap needs to be uniformly pressed into the hole for that airtight seal. Now, the pillow holds air just fine. For the convenience of a pillow that can be used in a variety of settings and chairs, and also deflates down to a compact size, and is easily adjusted to one’s comfort level, this is a great value at a very reasonable price.
