These come with a rubber holder which clips very easily onto the vent and holds on very well. The scent ring comes packaged separately and you put it inside the base. It has this standard car smell – not annoying or overwhelming, not citrus or sour. I really like how they look like – cute round wooden style buttons. Very modern
