Effective sun visor.
Easily installed. The visor is slightly larger than the factory visor. Original visor was broken and a new replacement was too expensive. This was a much cheaper alternative and the polarized visor minimizes the sun’s glare.

Is NOT usable at night — yes it tones down the lights but you can’t see the road!
If every state in the Union painted their roads with reflective paint, like they used to, this might be amazing. If you live in a state that does use the better, more expensive, reflective paint, I think it would work. Where I live (IL), I put the visor down and it toned down the car lights beautifully — I just couldn’t see the curbs, the edges of the road, anything. I was petrified for those few seconds that some person was going to walk near me and I wouldn’t see them, either. I could have kept the visor to try out when the sun is low and blinding, but the car visor wouldn’t stay up out of the way with this additional visor added to it. My husband said it had to go. (We share a car.) It looks well made, it halfway did its job, but I would not recommend it.

Good for a small car – holds tight and is polarized
The Joytutus Sun Visor Extender works well in my Toyota Echo. I was a bit worried about having to slide the toothed holder over the front of my sun visor, but the visor is small like the rest of my car. The tightness didn’t do damage and it stayed firmly on while I was driving. It’s true that monkeying with it while driving was troublesome in the tight spaces involved. But once it was adjusted (I slid it slightly to the right), I was able to successfully use it to shade the (left) driver’s side and flipped it back for front shading on the trip home. The best thing: It doesn’t reflect the colors of what’s behind me! The old extender showed me a riot of shivering colors, which was so distracting. Evidently it wasn’t polarized. This one is. Be sure to get the one with the large toothed holder that fits over the TOP of the visor. I noticed different versions that hang from the bottom. That kind kept falling off.

Good Product, Needs Smudge-Resistant Material
I really like this sun visor because it definitely helps block the sun and makes driving more comfortable. However, it leaves fingerprints very easily whenever you adjust it. The smudges can make it hard to see clearly, especially when the light hits it. If it didn’t show fingerprints so much, it would be perfect.

Avec ce dispositif, je n’ai enfin plus de problèmes de conduite lorsque le soleil est bas sur l’horizon. Le seul souci est que, avec les chaussées en mauvais état, l’écran vibre…. Mais on ne peut pas tout avoir !
