Sturdy and Secure
My rearview mirror is bulky and bulges in the centre, so my old phone mount – which had two top arms and a middle bottom arm – was a poor fit. I had to bend my old mount to fit the mirror, and the old mount fell off constantly. The IPOW phone mount’s 4-arm build secures itself firmly around my rearview mirror on either side of my mirror’s bulge, gripping the mirror tightly, so I don’t have to worry about the mount falling off while I am driving. The product’s build is intuitive enough that you can assemble it in about a minute without instructions.Although my package arrived in a box that looked like it had been resealed, the product was new and in good working condition.Overall, a great buy. I’d highly recommend, especially if you have a larger rearview mirror like I do.

Helpful
I use this all the time on my car when I am navigating problem is it’s heavy and force the mirror to moving down so I’m constantly having to fix it, but I do enjoy it!

This newer design is much better than the first one
I don’t even think they sell the old design of this anymore I have the old design and that thing just broke and the phone just fell on its own out of nowhere this new design the way the hinges are and the connections are it doesn’t put stress on where the phone vibrates or how it hangs this one has multiple Direction but these are some of the best phone holders I’ve ever used in a vehicle much better than the ones that go in the event in the suction cups are going your dashboard or on your windshield this one goes directly on your mirror you can adjust it higher or lower left and right vertical or horizontal mind you I park my vehicle indoors or in covered parking I’m not sure how it will hold up if you leave it in the sun for a very long time it may make the plastic dry and brittle and yours could break but as far as myself the new one is working great I like the new design I would definitely recommend the new design

Unreliable and Unsafe: A Disappointing Experience with the IPOW Large Rearview Mirror Phone Holder
The IPOW Large Rearview Mirror Phone Holder for Car promised a lot but failed to deliver on its claims. First off, the 360° rotatable and retractable feature seems more like a gimmick than a functional design. The so-called “2024 Upgraded Four Corners Fixed Anti-Shake” feature did little to prevent the phone from wobbling around, especially when driving over bumps or dips in the road. One of the most frustrating aspects was how the weight of the phone shifted the position of the rearview mirror. Instead of maintaining a steady 90-degree angle as advertised, the phone consistently drooped straight down due to the weight. This not only obstructed the view but also posed a safety hazard. In summary, if you’re looking for a reliable phone holder that doesn’t compromise your rearview mirror’s position, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. This product falls short of expectations and leaves much to be desired in terms of functionality and design.

Good design, sturdy
This phone holder is exactly what I been searching for, ever since I bought my 2017 CR-V. There is no convenient place in the car for my cell phone and because we only recently moved, I am still relying a lot on my phone’s GPS function. I hated the holders that relied on suction to hold them in place, and now I have a sturdy holder that is sufficiently adjustable to keep my phone visible but not blocking my view of the road in front of me. This unit is easy to assemble, and the spring loaded holder opens easily but still holds my phone firmly.

Awesome
Works great. So much better than suction cup mounts.

Workable
This is sort of good. It holds phone nicely but is very wiggly. It is cumbersome. My Lexus window is very close to the window so the holder doesn’t fit very well. It makes my mirror off kilter.

Disappointed
I love this phone holder it fits the mirror great but my phone fell out. It won’t hold the phone if it has a case and popsocket.

I recently tried out this mirror mount phone holder, and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, it’s very sturdy, securely connects to the mirror, and has an appealing look. However, I was disappointed by the design of the fingers that hold the phone. They are too small and are only suitable for holding the phone itself without a case. If you have your phone in a case, this holder is not very effective. The small and short fingers are unable to hold a phone securely, leading to the phone easily falling out while driving. This creates a very unsafe experience. Having to catch your phone and put it back in the holder while driving creates a very dangerous situation, which has happened to me multiple times already, so now looking for a different holder. It’s a shame because with some adjustments to accommodate phones in cases, it could have been a great in-car solution.
