    High quality
Perfect size, heavy duty and grips floor like I hoped. Just what I was looking for.

  2. GiGi

    Quality Mat
Husband uses this mat under his outdoor fryer to prevent oil/grease from staining the cement.

  3. Kokorone

Great for absorbing rain drips from your car.
I’ve found this mat super useful during the rainy season since it absorbs all the water that drips off my car when I park. It does have a nonslip backing that holds it in place and it hasn’t moved despite me driving over it whenever I get in and out of the garage. Fairly high quality but I do wonder what happens if the mat gets full of dirt or dust since its very absorbent.I would opt for a much larger mat if the goal is to cover the entire area your car is on. This one is more of an oil change mat or for general purpose. As an added bonus, whenever my car is out of the garage, my dogs absolutely love to run around on top of this since it has a ton of grip, more than your average carpet.

  4. GC and PC

A nice mat that unfortunately comes tightly folded.
I have an older pickup that drips a small amount of oil leaving a stain on concrete floor. I saw this mat and thought it would be a great way to catch the oil.I was a bit surprised when I opened the box. I was expecting the mat to be rolled up, like the picture on the product page. However, it was tightly folded and bound with string. As the pictures show, the creases from being folded keep the mat from laying flat. That is the reason for deducting one star. Whether or not it lays flat, it will still catch the oil.The material is tightly woven. The orange back keeps the mat from sliding on the floor. The size is 74″ by 61″, slightly bigger than advertised. It’s under my pickup and you can’t see the wrinkles. By the way, if does eventually flatten, I’ll update this review.

Non-slip backing woks well on my smooth finish concrete garage floor; keeping the mat in place
Non-slip backing woks well on my smooth finish concrete garage floor; keeping the mat in place.- No odor noticed from this product; which is always a good thing.- This mat does not seem to shed, when brushed with my hand, is another positive.- Easy to cut the large size down the middle with my heavy duty scissors; making two handy sized mats.– The only negative at this point is they fold the mate to ship it. I am still waiting (10 days & counting 50F – 60F weather) to see if the mat will flatten out & lat flat eventually. Too early to report on how easily it dries after a wet car is parked over it.Edit: Now 3 stars, one week later still not even close to laying flat. Might have to wait till next summer & warmer garage floor temps; before this thing is flexible enough to lay flat?

  6. Terry W Johnson

Sturdy and works well to protect the garage floor from spills and stains
My husband uses this when he gets down on the ground or garage floor to work on our motorcycle or car. It’s sturdier than the old quilts he used to use, and doesn’t show stains. It’s a good size and quite sturdy. The top fabric soaks up oil drips and melted snow really fast, which should save us from some messy puddles. Cleaning it is easy, too. I normally just vacuum it, but we can also hose it off without any weird smells or curling.

  7. ProlificK

I can’t get rid of the source of the problem, but I can decrease the impact with this oil spill mat.
One of our cars is now officially 20 years old. It has the usual problems one would expect. There is a mysterious leak that the mechanic feels is benign. Ignore it. The discoloration on the garage floor is a constant reminder. I ordered this heavy duty oil spill mat after reading the description. The 5′ by 6′ is perfect. It covers the area of the major leak or drip and keeps my cement garage floor clean. The thickness is impressive. It is not just a sheet and is thick enough to hold the oil. Best part is that I have been able to hold off on cleaning at close intervals. The ‘stain’ doesn’t really show at all, so it it not a constant source of irritation. It looks great on my section of the garage, as if it were made just for my car. The list price of $36.99 is very reasonable given the excellent quality, the minimal need to clean the cement floor directly, and the decreased aggravation.

    Shop rug
Good price for a good rug. I wanted to use it in the garage for my motorcycle repairs but the ol lady said in the house for the dog lol It doesn’t slip and slide off the floor so I guess it goes inside…
