Why did you pick this product vs others?:Purchased these seat covers to protect our seats after sweaty & dirty mountain bike rides multiple times a week. I almost bought another brand that was twice as much and I’m so happy I didn’t. We are very satisfied with these covers. Well made, fits perfectly, soft fabric (love the water proof backing), looks great on our seats (2015 GMC 2500 HD Sierra). I was worried they wouldn’t be big enough but they fit perfectly. I really like how easily they install (for washing) and they stay put on the seat when getting in and out. They don’t fit tightly, they just lay over the seat (very well) which is good because we can pull them straight to air out when we get out. If you aren’t looking for fitted seat covers, these are a great choice. I recommend them, especially for the price!

There are pros and cons
Hi! Jon’s wife here. First off, after a poorly installed Bestop (our fault, not the product) on my Jeep, I started looking for a seat cover that I can easily move when I’m not driving because it now rains inside my Jeep. I wanted something that I could sit on so I don’t get a wet butt. I’m also a dog walker and a real Sweaty Betty and I don’t want my sweat stinking up my Jeep.Pros:*The color is perfect and blends in with the rest of my accessories.*I don’t get a wet butt after it rains.*It’s easy to put on and move out of the way when I am not driving.Cons:*It doesn’t breath. I get in sweaty and, with the AC on blast, I sweat for my whole ride.*If I’m wearing shorts that are shorter that about 7 inches, the seat cover moves from skin contact when I hop in and out of my Jeep and I’m having to adjust it.*Due to the movement, the rubber backing is coming off leaving little rubber pieces on the floor board.I will probably buy another one for my passenger seat because I do drive dogs to the park and they get messy. I don’t normally wear short shorts so the movement isn’t a deal breaker. The ease of putting it on the seat, being waterproof and washability are the important factors that I was looking for and why I would purchase again.

Keeps your seats protected
This Happegear Happeseat car seat cover is such a lifesaver. I use it after pickleball and the gym and it completely protects my seats from sweat or moisture. The material feels tough but comfortable, and secures around the headrest so it doesn’t slide off.I really like that it’s waterproof and machine washable. It’s super easy to take off, rinse, and hang dry. It fits my driver’s seat perfectly and still allows access to the seatbelt without bunching.

Good design, poor execution – backing started to come off immediately
When I exercise, I sweat. A lot. I also ride horses, and need something to protect my seats from sweat, mud, dirt, animal hair, etc. After doing quite a bit of research, I purchased these seat covers based on positive customer reviews both on and off Amazon. Unfortunately, I should have listened to the few negative reviews and purchased something else.Pros:- Easy to install.- Simple design fits the leather seats in my car as well as the cloth seats in my pickup truck equally well.- Protects seats from sweat, dirt, pet hair, and I suppose anything else you might want protection from.- Allegedly machine wash/dry.Cons:- Following manufacturer’s instructions, I washed and dried these seat covers before use. I washed in cold water on the delicate cycle, and dried on low heat. The covers shed rice-like pieces of the textured grippy rubber from the back of the covers in both the washer and the dryer. It was a pain in the *ss to clean up.- Figuring that any loose backing was now gone, and speculating that may have been the purpose of the pre-wash, I installed one cover in my car and one in my truck. And the covers have continued to shed pieces of the rubber backing, leaving a mess in both vehicles.Another reviewer also had this problem – I assumed user error was at fault given the overwhelming positive reviews. Nope. I followed manufacturer’s instructions to the letter and also had that problem. I’m past the return window but am going to reach out to the seller to see if they’re willing to replace or refund. I hope the seller will address this as a customer service issue as these weren’t inexpensive!
