Can be used in more than just the USA. Is programable. Is also easy to use.
We purchased this for my 2nd eldest boy. He had just gotten his drivers license and we wanted to make sure he was able to find his way back home again as his sense of direction isn’t the greatest. It fits on an adapter. Plugs right into the lighter for power and works really really well. it has a bunch of different functions which I really think my son will use. It also has a touch screen which is another reason we purchased this type of GPS. The sound is really clear with the device, however it is much more audible thought the car speakers. I think he’s happy with it. It took him hours of fiddling with it which tells me that he was playing with it more than trying to figure it out. Oh, it also has a map update feature which gives information on all kinds of things including the speed limit of the road one is currently on. Also, he is about to join the Air Force and, if going to Europe as a duty station, this GPS enables him to download English or other continental Europe into the unit. A great value for money and a really great piece of kit for any airman.

    Disappointed customer
The attachments do not work well. Can’t fit the gps screen into the stand. Yikes!!!! Poor quality.

    Excellent. Buy for the money
Does what it’s supposed to do. Very easy to read.

  4. Customer Review

Great GPS navigator for older cars
I’m really liking this GPS navigator. The voice control is super handy, functionality is top-notch, and the quality is definitely there. The screen clarity is great, it was a breeze to install, and the visibility is perfect, even in different lighting.

    Disappointed
I returned it. I wanted a garmin and as soon as I opened it I was immediately disappointed. I tried to charge it on my computer but I just couldn’t navigate it. It might be very good just wasn’t for me

  6. CX

    Great accessory
Okay so the goods and the bads on this. Does it work well? Yea. Is it inexpensive? Quite possibly the MOST Inexpensive! It works VERY well and is pretty functional. It’s easy to setup and looks great. But also it LOOKS expensive even though it isn’t. So while you might not be inclined to put it away since it’s so cheap… someone might break your window thinking its expensive and that really adds up, so be sure to put it away when not in use, you’ll save so much!

Pay a few bucks more for a nicer GPS
This GPS device actually works somewhat competently, but:- on the first couple of uses, it took about 20 minutes to “acquire satellites” before I could actually use it for driving.- it repeatedly warned me I was speeding even though I wasn’t.- it didn’t remember my route after I unplugged it. Had to re-enter my route when I plugged it back in.- it does not have a “real-time traffic” function. On the plus side:- In the little bit that I’ve used it, the maps seem very accurate.- The speaker voice is loud and clear enough, even in my noisy old hatchback- It seems to recognize speed limits accurately.Because of the dated and slightly jerky interface and the clunky boot-up process, I couldn’t possibly recommend this GPS for everyday use. It would be fine for longer trips where it can give you a decent route and warn you about speeding, but that’s all I would recommend it for. Overall, it feels like a 20-year-old Garmin interface, so I would suggest paying up a bit and getting any cheap Garmin, even Garmin’s worst new GPS would be light years more useful than this unit.

Not the best Navigation system, but very good for the price if you don’t want to use your phone.
I was amazed by the usefulness of this GPS Navigator, is it Google Maps? No, but neither are many other navigation systems. It provides the basics on a budget, it is fairly accurate but obviously not as up to date as Google Maps would be, although you can update the maps, but updates are not daily or weekly. The instructions are OK and seem clear enough. It fits well in most vehicles, I found a space on my Dashboard in my Ford Transit and my wife’s VW Touareg.Overall it is good value for money, if you want something as useful as a built in vehicle navigation system. But Google maps will always be better than a static system like this.
