Good Quality / Easy To Install
This product worked great for my Nissan Murano Group 24F battery. My old battery had an OEM insulator, but the new battery is bigger. The old insulator does not fit, and there is no OEM replacement, so I bought this kit. The kit includes 40″ x 7″ insulation, and a 12″ x 7″ base mat which is a nice addition. I have included pics of both sides of the material. The base mat does not have a reflective side.I did cut the insulation to accommodate for the ears on my battery. For this particular battery which measures approximately 10.5″ x 7.0″ x 7.4″ I cut off about 6″ from the length of the insulation, and also cut two indentations for the ears on each side of the battery. This was so the insulation would be completely flush against the battery. I also cut the base mat to form, so it would fit into the battery tray. I would not have to had cut anything to use this product. (Not even for the battery tray.) I only cut to have a more professional look.However make sure the insulation is below the terminals and connectors to avoid any contact so it does not arc. I did test the foil side with a multimeter for continuity, and this will conduct electricity! So make sure not to get this close to the battery contacts. Also, it is dangerous to try and cover the top of the battery with this. So this will need to get cut if the battery is less than 7.0″ tall. This is not intended to cover the top.I am very satisfied with how this turned out. The quality seems good. It took a little effort to cut with a box cutter, so it won’t wear or tear very easily. I would purchase this product again for my next battery.

Insulates well and not too bulky – reasonable price.
Does the job. As others have noted because this is a universal product you will have to cut out portions for the terminals and make sure the conductive foil exterior is not touching your cables (I wrapped some rubber insulation where my positive terminal cable drops in front of the battery. Plus they provide a piece of additional insulation (but without the foil) for underneath the battery (also need to cut too fit). Not too bulky which is a good thing as there’s not a lot of “empty space” in my engine compartment and the battery still fits in the support brackets just fine with the wrap on (have a 2010 GT 500). Also The wrap is plenty long enough for a standard car or truck battery – I have a larger than normal 700 CCA battery and still had 6″ or so to spare that I cut off.

The 4-year-old OEM battery in my 2016 Sentra finally gave out, and I ended up picking up an aftermarket replacement. The OEM battery came with a pre-formed jacket that didn’t quite fit the new battery, so I picked up this kit to make up for that.The wrap fit quite well with only a little bit of trimming. It was just tall enough to cover the new battery, so taller batteries may need a taller wrap. Also, I took the time to make some cut-outs around the terminals to avoid short circuits–I expect the metallic outer layer would be conductive! If your battery cable terminals are resting a little too close to the cover, some electrical tape might also be a good idea.

easy to install – fits just right
My original battery wrap insulation was looking pretty sad when I replaced my car battery (size Group 58) recently, so I got this one. Pretty easy to install – just trim the wrap to the height of the battery (I overlapped the excess going around the battery) and use the supplied tape to secure the wrap. Tip – don’t make it too snug – that way you can slip it off when you need to service or remove the battery. Has a insulation pad that fits underneath the battery. Can make for a snug fit for the hold-down clamp when you first put it back in, but all fits OK.

Having had a misfortune of a fairly new battery becoming defective due to discharging due to either alternator not charging / or battery leak. Decided on extra protection for the battery found this item came from America. so far so go. i would recommend this for your battery protection.

Although they stated on here it would not fit my battery.This product has no measurements here to see. I know it will fit most batteries and can be cut down to size, if smaller.Worked for me and easy to use.

After doing my Turbo setup in my Honda S2000, my battery started to melt on the top (see the second photo). After every drive, I was able to deform the “cap” part of the battery because of the radiant heat under the hood.I just installed this Batteryr isolator kit, and since I got a small battery, I was able to wrap it around and on top of the battery. I tested after few drives, and now the “cap” of the battery is no longer melting after a drive, it is hard as it should be, this kit really block radiant heat. I recommend this product

This product was easy to install. Although the tape they supply could be better to seal the seam. I added Gorilla tape to make sure the seam would not separate. I was glad it was 40 inches long and 7 inches high. Not much trimming to do.
