I bought this for my husband for Christmas. It is for our long drives in the winter. He loves it. He is not experiencing the discomfort he was feeling with just a seat cushion.

Nice seat cushion
This is a nice seat cushion. It does what it says it will do.Pluses: For long car rides, it provides additional cushioning for the thigh and buttock areas. By long ride, I’m talking about 6 to 8 hours.Minuses: It is a bit narrow for me. That is to say, it provides about 80% coverage so one-third of one leg and butt is off the cushion and I’m not even sitting with my legs that far apart, a.k.a. man-splaining. So 2/3rd of one leg is kind of getting pressure pain since it is off the seat cushion. I can try to adjust it so I am in the very middle of the pad. I wear mens’ 34″ waist jeans so I’m not that huge. Second minus is that the “memory foam” feature means this pad expands back to what it was before it got compressed. This means you are sitting about 2 inches higher in the seat until it compresses again. In the winter, this means it not only returns to its original thickness, it is somewhat frozen in that shape until it warms up. It’s not a major problem, but I had to adjust my rearview mirror in the higher seating position for about 15 minutes and then I had to readjust the mirror as the foam compressed and my height in the seat lowered.I’m still using it so I give it 4 stars. Build quality is excellent. No torn stiches. Fabric is holding together.

I haven’t had it long but I have used it in local driving and I like it. My wife would say that is indeed high praise from me. My Chrysler Crossfire sits very low and the driver’s seat is very thin and this cushion is just the thing to give me the thicker cushioning and support that I need. I look forward to using it on road trips.

Don’t buy
This product looks very nice but provides absolutely no padding or support. I bought it as a gift for my daughter for Christmas she said it doesn’t work. I just got it back today 2 days past the return date. Don’t buy it’s certainly not worth it.
