Installation went ok if you just do a little at a time. Quality, fit are outstanding. It is somewhat thick, and I’m not sure the heated steering wheel heat would get through but it looks great, especially with the piping.

Not comfortable on a tesla model 3
The Model 3 Steering Wheel is already excellent but I was interested in an extra layer of protection against the hot climate and outdoor parking.Installation was pretty straightforward, although it required some strength.Once it was on, however, I was not impressed. The first thing I noticed was the big increase in thickness of the steering wheel. I wear size large gloves so I don’t think many people will like this wheel. That said, I could live with it even with the thickness.The deal breaker is the seams, which are just very uncomfortable. The material of the seams includes a hard plastic which is actually painful. I think the cover would have been better if it were just a single material or the seams were less prominent.And finally, the cover has a quite thick edge on the front and back where the unit ends. It’s unfortunately placed towards the front which is very noticeable, as annoying or more than the seem. I would look elsewhere.

Tight fit with bright red piping that really stands out
The fit is perfect in my model y and the thickness and material noticeably improve your grip on the wheel. It’s nice and soft with a firm texture that looks and feels great. Installing takes a bit of elbow grease but no tools needed. Once it’s on, it’s tight enough to feel like a permanent part of the wheel.
