Powerful and Perfect for Car Cleaning
I bought this vacuum as a Christmas gift for myself to clean my car, and I absolutely love it. The suction is very strong, and it makes cleaning my car quick and easy instead of going to pay money at a car wash just to vacuum my car. I also like that it comes with different attachments, especially the one I use on my seats—it works great with the material and gets everything really clean. The cord is a good length, but depending on where you’re parked, you may need an extension cord like I did. It’s the perfect size, easy to move around, and works better than I expected.

We have a number of parrots that we need to vacuum feathers, food, etc. and have had a one of these vacuums for a few years that has never failed. Most vacuum get clogged up when vacuuming feathers, but this on has never clogged.I now raise almost all of our veggies and herbs in our basement and have been using a broom to collect fallen leaves, dust, and soil that gets on the floor. Using a broom does not do a great job, and it is difficult to get under the shelving units. I have tried a couple of other vacuums to collect the leaves and whatever else is on the floor under my plants but they very quickly get clogged and stop working. We also have a huge shop vac that is great for big jobs, but too bulky for daily use.Since the vacuum like this one in our bird room has worked so well, I decided to buy another one to keep in the basement for my plants. So far, this vacuum has worked great and has made keeping my indoor garden area clean much easier. The cord length is long enough to reach most of the area I have to vacuum without having to move the plug to a different receptacle. Since the storage capacity is 4 gallons, I can vacuum quite a bit without having to empty it. I also appreciate the included attachments since I can vacuum the floor and also vacuum the dust webs that can develop at the ceiling of a basement. Considering the uses and the vacuum power of the vacuum cleaner, I believe this is a good value for the money. I should also mention that the same vacuum in our bird room has lasted us for over 5 years and is still going strong. I would definitely recommend this vacuum.I hope this review was helpful for you.

Small but powerful!
Full disclosure, original flooring laminate, current flooring is 100% vinyl planking so I have no idea how this unit will work on carpet.I bought this vacuum when my previous Craftsman shop vac engine died with a groan and a puff of smoke at the age of 15. I had several brand name vacuums over the years, all of which had problems with bad switches etc., etc., and I had to spend more money on repairs and new units than the units were worth. I finally had enough and bought my first shop vac for routine cleaning. I loved it. It was light weight, great suction ( sucks up pet hair easily), easy to maneuver, easy to clean and a source of a lot of laughs from friends who couldn’t believe I vacuumed the living space with a “shop vac.”When I needed to replace it I was pleased to see that Craftsman is making this new version of a small shop vac and purchased it. It is just as powerful and easy to maneuver and clean. There are a few small negatives that I have been able to address. 1) This vac did not come with the 12 inch wide brush attachment which is a must for non-carpet flooring. It covers a lot of floor which makes the job go faster. I am able to use the one from my prior unit but I think this tool should be included as a standard attachment. 2) They changed the way the filter is attached and it is just about impossible to remove for cleaning or replacement without damage. Filter covers are an easy fix as they can be easily removed and cleaned to help the filter last longer. 3) For a small motor it is louder than my last one but ear protection earmuffs fix this issue.If this unit lasts even half as long as the first one I will be very very happy!

Nice, portable and powerful vac
Great shop vac. I wanted something smaller, but didn’t want to sacrifice power. This vac is small enough to fit on a shelf. One star deduction for the attachment holder. It doesn’t hold all of them really well.

So far so good.
So far this thing works like a charm. I upgraded the filter and added a bag to mine. The hose could be better and will probably be the first thing to fail. Suction is good. Have used this about a dozen times now from sucking up insulation and debris to basic household vacuuming. Cannot say how log the motor will last since I haven’t had it long enough, but so far so good. Will update in a year if I remember too.
