These are the best door knob covers we have used. The plastic is thick and sturdy and does not feel flimsy or flexible like many others on the market. Once installed they stay firmly in place and do not pop off or loosen over time. Effective for 5-year-old nephew with autism
These are definitely secure and they work for my 5-year-old nephew who has autism. They are difficult to get off without using a tool, but that’s not a bad thing. If you don’t want little ones to be able to get them off. They’re super easy to put together.

Finally, a Lock My Toddler Can’t Outsmart (Yet)
I picked up these door knob covers after my toddler figured out how to open just about every door in the house, and they’ve definitely helped slow things down. Installation was quick and didn’t require any tools, which I appreciated since I just wanted something simple. Once on, they feel sturdy and don’t come apart easily, even when pulled or twisted. They are made of solid plastic and are very stable. My child hasn’t been able to open the doors since, but I can still manage them without much hassle after getting used to the grip. They also blend in well with the rest of the house and don’t look overly bulky. The only downside is that they can be a bit tricky for adults at first, especially if your hands are full. Overall, they do what they’re supposed to do and add an extra layer of peace of mind.TIP: Practice opening the door a few times one-handed after installing—there’s a bit of a learning curve, especially when you’re multitasking.

These child safety door knobs are the best addition to the house; keeps little ones from achieving too much mischief and keeps them safe from possible precarious situations. Have purchased twice . Would definitely recommend for anyone with very small children (18 mo to at least 2 years old). Will need to re-evaluate for children 3 yrs old. The safety door knobs are very easy to install and the price is very reasonable.

Got this for my front door. It’s to prevent my granny from wandering outside due to her dementia. It seems to work; she doesn’t know how to open the door and plays around with the knob. It was easy to assemble on a round doorknob. You gotta know the technique/practice how to open it. Just make sure your hands aren’t sweaty or have cream on it!!
