Awesome wheel sealant
I’ve been using their paint sealant on my wheels for years now, and really enjoy it for that. I was surprised to see that they came out with a dedicated wheel sealant. I’m not sure what exactly makes this different but application is similar and super easy. Only difference I noticed is that it smells less vinegarish than the paint sealant but other than that’s, easy to use, quality is top notch, shine looks great once cured, water repels nicely, making them easy to clean. I just wish they would do the industry standard of 16 oz but other than that’s it’s an excellent product.

I have wanted a Mini Cooper for forever and, finally, my husband bought me a brand new one for Valentine’s Day last year. I love my car so much and I have always taken very good care of it. I was not, however, prepared for the sheer magnitude of brake dust that would form on my rims on an almost daily basis. I’m not even sure how it forms so quickly because I drive in Go Cart mode most days. This mode allows me to tap the brakes in order to get the car to downshift. I use this to help me slow down so that I don’t need to rely on the brakes as much (I really miss manual transmissions btw). It was really bothering me so I looked into the brake dust issue and found that this is a common problem with BMW’s. I had no idea. I had been cleaning them just about every week, except during the winter, I let them go and my rims looked like they were purposely black powder coated. At least they kind of looked good? I shopped around for a good coating and found Cerakote so I decided to give this a try. It was a great price for a good sized bottle. The most difficult part was deep cleaning my rims and I am almost positive that I didn’t get everything off. I ended up putting on two coats of Cerakote just to be safe and I think they came out perfect! It was so easy to apply and buff afterwards. I just hope its efficacy lasts. I will try to report back in a little while with long term results. As of right now, definitely worth it!Update: it’s been a little over a week since I applied this product and it’s still, somewhat, preventing brake dust from accumulating on my rims. Normally they would be much worse! You can see exactly what they look like currently in the 3rd photo. I can confidently say that they look much better than my car right now. To test it further, I used a microfiber cloth and a little detailing spray and, what little is there, wipes right off (no scrubbing). I’m still very happy with this product!

Easy to apply product that enhances the shine of the wheels.
I used this product on a new set of rims that I also ceramic coated. The produce applied easily and did enhance the shine of the wheels. I have not had enough time driving the car to comment on the durability of the product.

It makes future cleaning much easier
Great product. This product doesn’t stop your wheels from getting dirty but it keeps them cleaner longer and makes them much easier to clean later on. Wheels take an absolute beating. Road grime, salt, rain, oil, brake dust etc on top of your brakes getting extremely hot. Clean your wheels really well and dry them completely. Apply the wheel coating with a clean microfiber and then buff off with a second clean microfiber. Done. It will make future cleaning much easier. Personally I reapply it every time I wash my car but I’m OCD. You may be able to skip a few applications. If you notice the water beading on your wheels has stopped after they’ve been cleaned, apply a little more.
