This is some good stuff!I bought this since I have some paint issues with my cars. I experimented with it on a much more delicate surface though. I have a metal garden ornament in the form of a quail and I wanted to fix some surface issues on it. I used this rubbing compound and polished the imperfections of the paint away with ease. If I can get these results on this paint, it will be just as easy to use on larger areas such as my cars’ bumpers and doors. The compound is even well able to remove oxidation and light surface rust, like I had on my motorcycle handlebars. I even like the fact that it comes with a reusable plug to prevent leakage.For its effectiveness, the price is good too. You’re going to get what you paid for with this product!

Okay it can cut. I was able to cut some paint, and a light scratch off of my truck. It was actually rather smooth afterwards. I was able to follow through onto the next steps with this company’s products. I can doing the whole truck on time with this then following through with their other products.

Cut through overspray
Well…. the vehicle that I was going to use this on, a family member totaled it while the product was being shipped. Everyone is well, but that took care of my need for this product. Although earlier, not realizing it, I got paint overspray on a vinyl trunk mat. So this weekend, I was trying to figure out how to remove the paint and not destroy the mat. I tried paint thinner but that reacted with the vinyl. So, after a few additional ideas failed, this product worked. I carefully worked the area manually being careful not to apply too much pressure. It removed the overspray without destroying the mat. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to get a before photo. The only issue I have with this product, it is thick and difficult to get out of the bottle. It’s worse than catchup. I was pounding on the bottom of the bottle trying to get the product out. And.. I think I got a defective cap. It doesn’t pop open at all; maybe 1/16th of an inch which isn’t enough to get any product out of it. I had to remove the cap to use it.

Effective Rubbing Compound
I ordered this heavy cut compound because I just ran out of my other rubbing compound. I still have some polishing compound, but it wasn’t strong enough to get the scratches out of our SUV. I tried this compound by hand on the door scratches with good results. Picture 3 and 4 shows before and after results on one of the doors. The compound made a big difference and this was just polished by hand. I’m sure it would have done better with my buffer. Pictures 5 and 6 show the before and after of the door scrape on one of the other doors. This compound got the scratches out entirely. This is probably the best rubbing compound that I have used and I have used many. It wipes away cleanly without residue leaving a nice shiny finish. I usually use a polishing compound after I use heavier rubbing compounds like this, but it doesn’t look like I need to in this case. I’m very happy with my order and would recommend this rubbing compound to anyone who needs a strong product that is easy to use.
