I recently picked up this DVPSISR Car Dashboard LED Interior Strip Light to add a bit of modern ambient lighting to my car, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. This is essentially a neon rope light with a custom molding that allows it to fit perfectly into the crevice at the bottom of the windshield, just past the dash vents, and it looks incredibly clean.
The installation was surprisingly fast and took me maybe five minutes total. Even though the installation tool shown in the listing wasn't exactly what I received in the box, the strip was flexible enough that I could just push it into the crevice by hand without any trouble. It fits so snugly that I didn't even want to cut it to size, so I just tucked the extra around to my front dash speakers and kept the full length.
One thing to keep in mind is that this light is oriented to face the driver rather than out the windshield. One final point for anyone considering this: be sure to check your local municipality rules to make sure this kind of lighting is legal to use while driving in your area. It can get pretty bright, so I’m planning to keep it on a darker setting to make sure I don't get any distracting reflections while driving at night. It comes with a remote control to functionally swap between different modes and colors. While the rainbow mode is a fun feature, I personally think the cyan looks the best and gives the cabin a really high-end feel.
The wiring was also very well thought out. The USB-powered cord was long enough for me to route it from the windshield, down through the rubber door crevice, under the glove compartment, and straight into my center console's USB port. It’s a very stealthy install that hides the wires well. Overall, it’s a quick and stylish way to upgrade your interior lighting if you have a few minutes to spare. Recommended.

Very large and thick
This light was a whole lot thicker than I anticipated it being, it’s really large. I understand the purpose of it wedging between your windshield. I guess I anticipated something a bit smaller considering the display on the listing showed it in multiple places. This will only work in your windshield. Do keep in mind this is also a USB connector and if you already have a bunch of Lights plugged up it’s probably not going to work very well for you. You would need a multi-tap connector for this. I am pleased that it did include a variety of connectors including USB C. This is helpful with different car connections. It was relatively easy to install though it really wasn’t to my liking after installation as it left a lot of thickness and didn’t really help with visibility due to the larger size.

Really fun and crazy simple instillation
I always go into these very hesitantly because I am the worst when it comes to strip lighting and getting it to lay down correctly and not look absolutely ridiculous but this kit eliminates those issues because of how the LEDs are incorporated into the flexi weather stripping piece so it literally just pushes against the windshield and the dash and that’s it…. you’re done lol. So impossibly easy and takes all the potential issues out of the install process that constantly thwarts me. I loved how much this looked in my SUV that I have a few more in my cart for various positions within my vehicle. The lighting is bright but not so bright that its distracting or causes visual issues. It just adds a lovely ambiance and I always put it onto a calm flow on my way home to wind down with “mood lighting” I love this design and how easy it is to install and remove as many times as needed. Highly recommend this setup to anyone who struggles with adhesive things lol

Simple and affordable…
At a price of $20 I figured this was an interesting opportunity to add some low level lighting to the camper top/canopy on my pickup truck. At ~five feet in length, this is designed for car interiors but I saw a chance to be able to light things up in the back of the truck due to its black bedliner and tinted windows. The shell is white aluminum and may make a decent reflector. Being able to choose colors that will aid in night time use, it could be an interesting project.I did not use the phone app. I did use the provided remote control to manage color choice and the included basic programs. The light itself is not terribly bright but that could be by design as the apparent intended use could be facing a driver’s eyes. There seems to be six levels but I would like to see a brighter top level. Everything is relative though based on the $20 price point.
