I detail cars professionally and picked this applicator after comparing it with a bunch of others online. What stood out right away was the build quality – it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy like some other foam or plastic options. The durability is on point too. I’ve used it on multiple full-size vehicles now and there’s been no breaking down or shedding, which is a must when you’re doing regular details.The thickness and firmness of the bristles are perfect. They’re strong enough to evenly spread tire shine and dressing, but still gentle enough not to sling product all over the wheel. It has the right amount of resistance, which makes the application clean and consistent.As far as size, it’s ideal. At 3.6 inches, it fits comfortably in my hand and covers a good surface area on the tire without being awkward to hold. It gives me control without fatigue, even when I’m doing multiple cars in a row.I also appreciate the storage stand that comes with it. Works fine, but is much smaller than I expected it to be. I was anticipating a brush about the same size as my previous brush, which was large enough to cover the entire sidewall of a sandard-sized tire. This one does not cover the side of a low-profile tire. Other than that, the brush works cine.
