The fit isn’t perfect, but I’m still really happy with it
I always carry a couple things on my dash and they slid around a bit. My 2019 Forester is designed well enough that things almost never fell out unless I took a hard turn at high speed and since that isn’t common I never really worried about itI grabbed this to fill out a cart to get free shipping and I’m glad I did, especially considering how inexpensive it is. Things NEVER slide around now and it fits in almost perfect. It is the perfect shape so installation was nothing more than just setting it down. It is black and matches well with the rest of my interior which is important to me. I doesn’t hinder the amount of space. My only complaint is that given it’s sturdiness, the front corners stick straight out off the lip a little bit. It’s nothing I worry about but it does make it obvious it’s aftermarket. I could fix it with a tiny bit of museum putty but it’s so minor I haven’t bothered

This pad fit my 2018 Subaru Forester perfectly. Now I can leave my sunglasses there when I need to because they won’t slide around. It has the normal surface feel of silicone – it is not sticky. The first try putting it in place it didn’t fit but I rotated it and that made a difference, so I would say it is easy to install. It does lay flat. The pad has a slight lip edged in white around the perimeter. I bought a black one but don’t remember if these came in different colors. Since it is right in front of one of my screens being black is good.I don’t know how it would get dirty but it should be easy to clean. I guess this will last a long time unless the summer heat degrades it – so I’m buying a second one now while I can and save it for the future. (My estate sale after I die will be full of new, just in case items.)I would like to find similar silicone inserts for the door bins. Wish I’d thought to buy more accessories for my car when it was new.

It fits my 2022 Forester Limited, but waiting on hot weather for final verdict
This mat fits where it’s supposed to fit. It is naturally very grippy, it doesn’t slide around at all on the dash. The top side is also adequately textured and grips well enough that laying my cell phone on it isn’t an issue- it doesn’t slide around at all while I’m driving, it stays put. It’s thick but flexible enough that it sits down fairly well- there is a little bit of lift on one corner of the mat, but to be fair, it was purchased and installed during cold weather in Wisconsin.Will have to wait until we get into warmer weather to see if it lays down entirely flat or not. It’s not an issue for me, it’s very minor.. but for the OCD out there, I’m sure it might cause you distress.The only other factor I can’t comment on is if it will stain or mark the dashboard plastic in hot weather. It is my understanding that many of these rubberized mats for car dashboards had issues with staining the dash during summer months due to some sort of chemical leeching under extreme interior temperatures. I have heard that most of these items have moved to rubber formulations that no longer cause this issue, but I won’t be sure until it gets hot out.

Works pretty well, but my phone (in a leather case) slides around a bit on it still. The edge of the dash curves down, but this mat does not curve down with it, so it kind of looks a bit off, but I used some 3M doublesided tape to keep the front of the mat down and it works well.It seems to collect dust a lot faster than the rest of the dash – I’m guessing that’s just what you get with this material, but it will look dusty and scuffed pretty quickly and isn’t straight-forward to clean.
