5 star windshield cover for BIG snow storm!
Mazda cx-5.The cover worked perfectly for a major snow storm we just had on east coast. Fits nice for suv and gave great coverage. Materials and clips seem like they should last. After removing snow from top of car I peeled this off and windshield was spotless. Awesome product for price. Very easy to use.

Great Windshield Cover
The cover works well. I like how the plastic hooks on the elastic straps helps keep the core in place. The mirror covers are an added bonus.

Very convenient
Perfect way to make it that I don’t have to scrap my windshield every morning. Nice and easy set up and tear down.

Seems durable in snow ice cold wind
This is a five-star review for the AstroAI Car Windshield Snow Cover.I’ve only had this a few weeks but it has surprised me by surviving what it has been subjected to in terms of cold, snow, and wind. When I got it, we had a wind storm coming in with below freezing temps. All day and all night it took 35 mph winds with up to 60 mph gusts. With the higher winds coming from behind, it would lift right up off the windshield and billow like a sail, flap around. I thought it was a goner, figured some neighbor across the valley would find it draped across their car by morning. But it held on for dear life all day and night.Next day I noticed a little tearing beginning at the one seam, so I decided to take it in, rather than just let it be destroyed. And that has been my habit now. For the really strong winds going all day, I take it off. But I was impressed with how it endured that beating it took. It gives me more confidence that it can handle some routine winds.Goes on and off easily. The straps are quite long, and I managed to fit it on an older extra-long minivan, with a very tall windshield. It didn’t easily reach the back wheels, but I was able to clip it securely to the edge of the wheel well. And in the front, I found it fit better clipped to a slot in the front bumper, although it also reached the front wheels. Fits great, really covers the wiper/vents slot with some to spare. Nice snug fit.The straps have quite a bit of elastic in them. So in high winds, especially coming from behind, they aren’t able to hold it down tight. But that elasticity probably saved the seams from being destroyed. The buckles would also move from the wind. I had to tie the front ones to hold it at its shortest. The cover will lift up and flap in higher winds. Lower winds like 20-30 with gusts to 40 are better. Even with it lifting up, it still kept the snow out of there good, and the hooks have held great.I’ve had it down to about 5 degrees F with winds tugging at it, and it proved to be very durable. I had my doubts about the plastic straps and hooks, but they seem to handle the cold well. TIme will tell how long it all lasts in the sun. The plastic of the shield also does well in the cold, remaining flexible. Easy to put it on even below 20 F. I try not to move and flex it much below that, but the wind does. After some snow melted on it, some water pooled at the bottom of the windshield, on top of the cover. I found it the next morning frozen into a football shaped chunk of ice. Even at low temps, I peeled it off the cover easily and chucked it aside, and the windshield was free of ice. Cotton lining works well, very smooth. Black plastic heats up in the sun and dries out the edges. I haven’t had any problem with it getting seriously frozen to the vehicle thus far, but with enough ice the straps and parts can freeze on.Mirror covers work well and are plenty large. Just shaking them a bit removes the snow and ice from that area. This vehicle has wiper blades that can’t easily be brought up, so they become a trap for ice buildup. This windshield cover promises to be a great tool to help reduce that ice buildup – that’s why I got it. I figure it should last at least one season, maybe a few, even with the weather here. I’ve already bought a second one based on how this one performed in the wind, snow, and ice, and very cold temps.

It works! Black windshield cover
Thanks Amazon, I finally found a snow cover for my 2024 Niro windshield! I tried one of those covers from W-mart that has two flaps that close in the car door to secure it in place. Yes, it covered part of the windshield but allowed snow and ice to collect around the wipers because it did not extend on to the hood. Some covers available have magnets that could attach down to steel hoods but the Niro has a nonmagnetic aluminum hood. Also the flaps that were trapped in the car door allowed water to seep in and run down inside when it rained and soaked the interior carpet-not good. With this product, the elastic straps are adjustable and have decently strong holding power. I just installed this cover at night in very strong wind to test it out and its holding well, barely flapping at all. The straps over the hood attached to the front wheels for a snug fit with plenty of coverage over the wipers. For the upper windshield, I tied the “security” strap into a loop and then ran the elastic strap through the front door handles and attached the hook to the loop. The mirror “mitts” should be good to eliminate frost and snow build up. 5+ star product for my application.

It works well for what it is and the price.
I don’t have access to a garage to keep my car in while the nights freeze over, and I work at 4am when it’s the coldest all night so I had to buy a frost guard cover.Car:2011 BMW 3 series sedan.Pros:I love how far it goes onto the roof and hides the front windows. Not many do that. Keeps ice off the front windshield and front windows. (But that’s also the gripe, compared to the pictures in the listing, will get into that on cons.) – The material is light and soft. The white part that touches the car does not get wet, even when the black part is completely frosted over with a layer of frost and ice. – The black material allows frost to collect, but the material can still be folded up so the frost doesn’t stick to the material and make it hard and crunchy, it’s still malleable when removing. – When the frost turns to water the water runs right off of the black side and it doesn’t stay damp at all, and the white side still stays dry, so the materials work really good together. – The clips are plastic, and it hasn’t gotten extremely cold here, but I could see the clips breaking if its cold enough, however plastic is better than metal if you are attaching to your rims nightly so you can’t win everything.Cons:The pictures in this listing CLEARLY show that the frost guard covers the windows completely, and goes onto the hood. It even shows in a picture “not like other brands” where it covers the windshield wipers. However, I have the sedan that it doesn’t cover? It’s a BMW 3 series sedan. It’s the sedan of sedans. Not huge, and not small. It’s a sedan. But the part that’s supposed to go onto my hood is missing it by inches, even with the straps on both sides at max. So “not like other brands” doesn’t do this listing any justice when I still use my windshield wipers to keep the guard down on the windshield. Works fine, just not the right advertising. (And yes, I get that it has dimensions on the listing, but you never know till you try solely due to the adjustment on the straps and how it works with the length of the car/wheel to wheel.) – The way I fold up the guard is a good size for storage, but it’s always too big for the bag that it comes with, especially at 4am with frost on it and I’m trying to leave for work. So I end up halfway putting it in. So the bag is cool, but doesn’t do any justice for me with how small it is. – The “anti theft” straps are… pathetic. It’s a strap with a buckle. And with how the guard is positioned over the car, sometimes that buckle gets stuck in the door jam and doesn’t sit by the window inside the car like it’s supposed to. So I can see myself shutting the door on the clip and breaking it, but I need to utilize it more so to hold the top down tighter so wind doesn’t keep pushing it up at night. I’m not worried about anyone stealing this guard, and this is by no means “anti-theft” if one owns… scissors. LOL. They all advertise anti-theft tho. So it’s whatever.I still like it. I will still use it. It’s just not as… depicted in the generated pictures. Not sure why all these companies/resellers/flippers use generated and altered pictures. Just use the product and take a picture of a real world example. C’mon. Then you’d actually know your product.

Very easy to install in my SUV. Weight is decent , not too light not too heavy. Side mirror cover is very wide I no longer have to force putting it on , and ripping it off in doing so, there’s a lot of space. This one have a sturdy material too. Wipers are all nicely covered. The inside is not a cotton , which I’m glad ! All I have to see now is it’s durability during freezing rains. The hooks and elastic straps is also long enough to adjust accordingly. The only thing That doesn’t fit the product description is “ easily storing it to the provided bag”. The bag is too small for the cover once you already have opened it. Not to mention when it’s wet with snow or rain. I don’t have the time or patience to fold it nicely to put it back in the bag when it’s freezing cold outside . I just use a collapsible grocery bag in storing it, it’s more convenient. Nevertheless, it’s still a quality product and cheaper than the first two that I tried.

Das Teil ist riesig. Deckt bei einem Dacia Docker alles ab und hält auch bei starkem Wind.

I bought this for my MG HS. Many other windscreen covers were simply too small. This is really good quality. Quite thick and really substantial.Reasonably easy to put on considering its size.It fits completely over the windscreen and the windows of the two front doors as well as completely over the door mirrors (and their housing which was what I was looking for). The straps holding the cover on are better than the usual magnets I think.A great idea is that the passenger side has a elasticated strip under the door mirror pouch to allow you to stretch it to fit without pulling the cover too much.

Cumple con las especificaciones descritas, es un poco más grande de lo que esperaba, pero le quedó perfecta a la camioneta. Para el carro si se ve un poco grande.
