The listing states that the shades protect for about 80% of the light transmission including reducing the risk of UV exposure. The shades include suction cups to hold on to whatever window you attach them to which makes them pretty much universal to fit almost every vehicle out there.The shades are approximately 20″x12″ and weigh only a few ounces each. They are an oblong / oval shaped which allows for proper sun resistance for most windows. The suction cups are strong and I have tested them on both tinted and non-tinted windows and they have adhered for long trips with zero issues.I have been using these shades for nearly 3 weeks on long haul trips of about 90-120 minutes one way and these have provided excellent sun resistance for the passengers in my backseat. They provide an additional resistance to the tint that is already on the back seat and I have tested that it reduced my back seat temperatures by about 15° on a very hot day. I also notice I do not need to run my AC at as high of a rate to keep the car cool. Removal of the sun shades is simple by pulling on the removal nipple and it comes off without leaving any marks or marring the window or tint. It works great putting them up and taking them down.This listing is a great value for a decent set of strong adherence shades which are a decent price. Overall this listing would be ideal for someone who wants to provide sun resistance to someone who is maybe napping in the backseat or possibly protecting a baby / child from sun exposure. Easy to install and great sun protection for the backseat
I got this two pack of window shades to help keep the sun out of the eyes of our new baby while riding in the backseat. The strong sunlight can be so harsh, and these do a fantastic job of blocking the glare and keeping the back of the car much cooler.The suction cups are very easy to use and attach securely to the glass. It only takes a few seconds to set them up or take them down, which is incredibly convenient when you are trying to get on the road quickly.They also provide a really nice amount of privacy if the baby is napping or if we are parked. The material feels durable and they fit our windows perfectly without leaving any weird gaps.
