Functional window shades
These window shades are perfect for getting some air in my car while not letting bugs in. They stretch over the open door frame and fit the windows of my Honda Accord perfectly fine. I also like that they provide a bit of privacy since they are a dark black color. At $13 for the 2 pack the price and quality is fair.

Converts your window into a breathable screen—great for napping or waiting
I picked these up because I spend a lot of time waiting in my car, and I wanted to be able to roll the windows down without letting in bugs or harsh sunlight. These spandex covers slide right over the top of the door frame like a sock, which is a brilliant design for airflow. With this, you can roll the glass all the way down, and the shade stays in place. You get the full cross-breeze, but it blocks the sun’s heat and keeps mosquitoes out. It’s perfect if you are eating lunch in your car or taking a break.While you can see through them from the inside during the bright daylight, they do darken your view of the side mirrors significantly. Insight: I recommend pulling the front bottom corner up over the mirror housing if you are driving in heavy traffic or at night, otherwise, your blind spot check is compromised.The spandex is very stretchy. It pulled down over my door frame easily without ripping, and the elastic band at the bottom keeps it from flapping around in the wind.From the outside, it looks like a “limo tint.” People walking by can’t really see inside, which adds a nice layer of security/privacy.If you want to turn your car into a tent for camping or resting, these are essential. They cool the car down instantly. Just be mindful of your mirror visibility when you start driving again. Highly recommended.
