i had to get a dongle because the newest iOS update on my iphone 17 pro max is incompatible with wired apple car play.i updated my iOS to the newest beta version, updated my car’s software, bought the anker usb a to usb c for charging+data transfer, and this dongle was the ONLY SOLUTION THAT WORKED!!!works great for my Hyundai Tuscon 2022 🙏- connection instructions ✅- pricing ✅- minimal/small look ✅

It works perfectly with my 2019 Subaru BRZ.I particularly like how small the dongle is when installed in the car.Setup is very easy: just un-pair your phone from your car, plug in the dongle, open the CarPlay app, and pair your phone with the dongle instead. Doesn’t work on 2024 Honda AFAS
Did not power up on my Honda Africa Twin motorcycle but did power up on my Ford F350. I’m guessing the Honda motorcycle has a lower power output than what this needs but who knows. I couldn’t use it so I returned it. Increased the rating by 1 star because the seller reached out proactively work on a suitable solution. (It still doesn’t work on my CRF1100, but I’m happy with the seller’s customer service.)

So currently, I’m the one banished to the wall side of the bed while we’re in the thick of decorating and rearranging, living the dream. This cable is exactly 1.8 meters long as advertised and feels solidly made with a thickness that is nice to handle, resistant to tangling and seemingly robust. One end can be switched between a Lightening connector and a Type C , whilst the other can be switched between a USB A and a Type C., giving four possible combinations.The two connections at each end are a tight fit into each other and are unlikely to fall apart accidently, and they have a flexible joining strip to guard against this as well. It requires a strong pull to separate the connectors.I have tried all combinations of connectors on various devices and charging and data transfer worked perfectly in every case.My slight concern is that the connector between the Lightening and Type C is very short and needs to be manipulated to stop it preventing the Type C making a good connection in the relevant device’s socket.

This is such a clever idea! There’s a USB port, 2x USB-C ports and an iPhone charger so it can fit so many different phones etc. I’m using it to keep as a universal charger for work phones and my personal as it stops carrying around numerous different cables. I think it’s really good value for money and seems well made although I am slightly concerned that there are ways it could break but that’s not happened so far!! I’d recommend it for travel or work etc. as it saves on space.
