A solid kit for small outdoor adventures.
I got this for kayak fishing, and it’s a solid little kit. It has a good variety of the usual first-aid stuff, but I plan on adding a few more things myself. I mostly bought it because it was compact, a good price, and claimed to be waterproof.On the “waterproof” part: I definitely wouldn’t submerge this case. The main zippers just don’t seem like they would keep water out if it really got soaked. If you’re looking for a better waterproof option, THRIAID’s roll-top version is probably the way to go (it’s on my wishlist).I do wish they’d included a waterproof pouch inside for Band-Aids and gauze. I just put them in a Ziploc bag, which works great and helps keep everything organized. All in all, it’s a great kit for casual outdoor trips, and I’d buy it again.

I really like this kit. I almost got the bigger one for my 26′ boat, but got this, as i can also attach to a backpack for hiking or crewing other peoples boats. The transparent window seems kind of counterproductive…i slipped a white bandage wrapper from inside to under the clear window, so it was more easy to ID as a medkit, solved. Mine came with the cheap plastic whistle/compass combo with a magnifying glass as pictured, but there is also a red whistle in the pics it didnt come with. Not a big deal to me at all. the pouch seems high quality overall.

Better case than expected!
Perfect first aid kit for our boat! It is very compact in size and the case it’s self is very water tight! I would recommend this kit if you need something to save on space and battle the elements.
