Perfect Fit For Garage Doors!
I did not use this in my car. (Although I probably will in the future) Rather, I actually used this to sound deaden my garage door! Most sound proofing panels are quite small, but this is the perfect width for a garage door panel! I just had to cut to length for each section and apply.Garage doors are rattly things, so while sound deadening a garage door may be kinda silly and overkill, it does work! This was followed up by garage door foam insulation which you can see in the picture I had started to apply. But the foil looking stuff in my photo is this product.I think the value is good, it’s very effective and if you need bigger sizes this is the way to go! Especially if you’re doing a garage door because again it’s the perfect width!

Cuts road noise significantly.
Used this in my 2007 Corvette. This roll (53.9 SF) was JUST about enough for the full project. Wishing I had about 2 SF more for better coverage with a bit to spare, but didn’t want to buy more as all major areas were covered. This reduced highway sound by 7-10db, which is really impressive…It’s noticeably quieter! Just wishing I had done this years ago. While I’m sure there is some heat reduction from the torque tube/exhaust channel, it’s not as significant as I was hoping, but I was also unable to get full coverage in the console area, so would not take any “points” away for that. Adhesive on the back is super sticky, so you’ll want to be careful in placement. Once it has been pressed on, it’s impossible to remove without tearing it up. Overall, money well spent.

This product works well and is way less expensive than many other products for this use.
This product lived up to its description completely! It cuts easily to fit the contours of the inside of doors, floors, roofs and hood sections and the rollers really make it smooth out and stick well. The sound quality of the stereo has improved significantly and general noise is reduced also.
