I’m short and sit very low in the car seat. Blinding sunlight while driving has been a chronic problem, and visors never go low enough. This visors really solved the problem. It was easy to install, and has helped greatly . My only complaint is the portion that pulls out horizontally to block sun between the drivers and passenger seats. It is a solid cardboard piece that totally blocks the rearview mirror! It is totally useless. I can’t understand why it would have been designed this way.

Thoughtless design
They didn’t have a woman test this before the design was approved. It is constructed backwards. When installed as instructed, on the front of the visa, it covers the mirror. I don’t want the mirror covered, so I installed it on the back of the visa. Problem now is – the little upper shade can’t be used because it only slides sideways to the right (in my case, it slides to the left where the door blocks it.) If the design allowed the little shade to slide both left and right, it could be installed without covering the mirror. I could install it on the back of the visa and still use the sliding side shade but the zipper wouldn’t be exposed. Which is okay ‘cos the Blocker can be pulled down without using the zipper. In fact, easier than using the zipper. So the answer is – install it on the back of the visa with the zipper on the inside, and then the little shade slides to the right. Yeah!! I’d rather have my visa’s mirror than the Blocker’s zipper. I found a different brand that makes more sense, so I’m moving this one over to the passenger side of the car.

Car Visor Extended Light Protection
I use this almost every day to block the sun while driving. Especially when going west directly into the sun. I also use my sunglasses, which helps tremendously. Sometimes at night, I use this as well for oncoming cars with high beams on; it’s really helpful.

This one got my attention
I have had one other similar to this before and it worked well. We lost it when changing to a new car. This one is an upgrade. What I love about it most is the panels that slide out. I had been wishing the other one had a way of blocking the sun from blinding me when the sun is low in the sky especially during winter. It also has a panel that slides down and acts like sunglasses when needed. I am very happy with it for those reasons. One thing you might want to know is that installed you can’t use the vanity mirror when it is on. A small price to pay to not get blinded by the sun.

The photo shows a right hand visor for the right side of the car. In the UK that is the drivers side. That option shown is not available. The only option is for the left hand passengers side which does not fit the drivers side in a right hand drive car as the side slider is on the right and not the left as shown.
