Must-have if you park your car outside in the sun
I live in Texas, so it gets pretty hot under the sun outside in the Summer or just any sunny day near summertime. Anyways, I found these shades and it seemed to be a good fit for my car (2005 Acura MDX). I initially was planning to use these for my front side windows and my rear side windows, but the rear side window shades were too big to fit, so I used both of the rear side shades together for my rear view window.For functionality, these are pretty good. They have magnets on the borders of the shades and stick on nicely to my car’s door metal border around the window. And, of course, they do a good job at repelling the sunlight coming into the car. Before I had these on, my seat and steering wheel (and basicslly everything) were burning hot, so this eliminated that problem. Additionally, it also seems to reduce the max temperature in the car by a noticeable amount. So, it went from blazing hot in the car before to still pretty hot but more manageable (not instantly breaking a sweat).Overall, I’d say these are a good value assuming you have measured your car’s windows and know that these will fit or somewhat fit. They can be easily installed and are pretty affordable for what you get.

Simple and quick fix to a hot seat & steering wheel
Don’t usually write reviews but I was pleased with this item. It fixed a niche. Yes it’s thing and cheap, the price wasn’t high either. The reflective surface is nice for repelling heat but the magnets are why I got it. Super easy, snaps right in. There are no magnets on the bottom, as other reviews have stated. But the side and top get the job done.

Bought for a 2006 CRV, and the fit is close-ish but certainly not perfect. The magnets seem to be strong enough to hold on either the door or on the car frame itself. A little on the short side, especially since the bottom is just loose and doesn’t stick to anything. I wound up tucking it in the window area just enough to keep it in place. Blocks light decently, but hard to tell with the other windows not covered. The material is acceptable, and I like that it isn’t crinkly. They fold up and fit nicely into the door cubbies.

Didn’t fit Subaru Outback
Attached strongly with small magnets and hung down like a curtain. Liked that these would be small to store but unfortunately the rear passenger window curtains don’t fit my 2023 Subaru Outback enough to provide privacy.

Exactly what I needed to stay cool
It does what I need it to do by keeping my car cooler, and keeping me from burning if I’m sitting my parked car. I have a 2016 Honda civic, for reference. I live in California & it should not be this hot in the winter, but this random heat wave definitely inspired my purchase.

They fit my car well enough. I don’t seem to have a problem with the magnets as others say but maybe cause it’s bigger than my windows and I don’t need to stretch it for coverage. I mostly want it to block out the sun and privacy if I take a nap during lunch!

Ces protections sont top. Très efficaces pour garder la voiture au frais, permettent de faire fonctionner les vitres, faciles à installer et à ranger avec leur petite sacoche, et en plus elles sont plutôt jolie.Je confirme ce qui est dit dans certains commentaires à savoir que les aimants peuvent bouger un peu. Cependant, je nuance en disant qu’ils sont quand-même tous dans des emplacements séparés par des coutures, et qu’ils ne peuvent donc pas partir bien loin dans la doublure ou finir tous collés les uns aux autres.Cerise sur le gâteau, ils sont extrêmement bien adaptés à notre Golf V en termes de dimensions et de forme, notamment pour les portières avant (la dimension est exact au mm près !). La voiture va pouvoir rester au frais cet été !Vraiment pas déçu de cet achat !
