Awesome find!
This is well worth it!!! We’ve been traveling for years with my two dogs (medium size and large size breeds) in the Jeep with the seats down, limiting our storage. But this is fabulous. We now have all the room. And, they love it. It’s sturdy. Easy to install and keeps the car clean. I added a fuzzy light weight bed and it’s perfect. It fits perfectly in the back of the Wrangler. And, has a storage bag. I wish I had it before.

Update March 2026 (after continued use in multiple vehicles):I originally used this in a 2022 Acura MDX, but have since used it in a 2025 Lincoln Corsair (rental) and now currently in a 2025 Lincoln Aviator with captain’s chairs.It has held up really well across all of them, but there are a few fit differences worth noting.In the Aviator with captain’s chairs, I did have to get a little creative — I placed a sturdy Amazon box over the center console/cup holder area underneath the extender to give it additional support. Once I did that, it worked great and felt stable.That said, this is definitely something to consider depending on your vehicle setup. It fits more naturally in traditional bench-style back seats, but can still be made to work in captain’s chair configurations with a little adjustment.Overall, I still love this and continue to use it regularly.This is a nicely made back seat extender and an upgrade from our hammock style. While it’s not totally slip proof, it’s waaaay better than other ice skating rinks I have tried. It is very sturdy and holds our 60 lb boy no problem. I REALLY appreciate the zipper mesh screen in the middle as that feature is not easy to come by!! Set up and install was a breeze for our Acura MDX. We have been using this for several months including a 20 hr car trip. I have and will continue to recommend this particular extender!

Great back seat cover to fill leg aReas and space between 2nd row capt chairs
We have had this seat cover for a year now and transport our dogs every day for walks or trips to stores, drive back and forth from FL and take our dogs on vacation with us. It has held up beautifully. Zippers still work, plastic inserts still hard, no torn fabric. I am definitely a fan! Thinking of getting another one so have it when this wears out–if it ever does! You never know when something you love stops being produced. For those wo during about size, we have a Toyota Highla der and it fits perfectly. We dot a door protector for one door and folded that side down for ease of getting dogs in and out of car. The cover is made for the seats to be in the upright position so if you use a back tailgate for a dog to get in and out all the time, it might not work as well. There is plenty of room for 2 medium sized dogs, maybe even 3, and a big dog would have plenty of room to stretch out.It’s now 2 yrs old and holding up beautifully even after 2 gentle power washes. We took a month long vaca to Canada’s maritimes and Newfoundland this past summer camping and hiking. Dogs were in and out constantly, sometimes wet from swimming or rain. No issues. Seats were fully protected. If your dog loves looking out the window, you might want separate door protectors to protect the area just below the window from sharp claws. Other than that, this is a great seat protector and I give it 6 stars!

Definitely worth the price.
This is far better than any seat cover I have ever owned for my dog. It’s far more than seat protection. It’s also a dog protection system. I love the solid floor, the protection for the backs of the front seats and the zip up sides that also are supported from the grab bars above. Throw in the tether which clips into a seat belt buckle and I know my car is protected, but more importantly, I know my dog is in a well designed system that will protect her and also insure she can’t accidentally jump out of the car when I open a door. I also really appreciate the center mesh between the front seats that also has zippers and can be lowered so we can interact with her when we choose. Throw in the zippered compartments in the floor for the removable hard panels which allows the cover to be machine washed (which I haven’t done yet) and I think they have thought of everything. High quality and totally worth the extra price for the features and quality of this product. This is the one you need.

Good cover, but slippery surface.
My Golden Retriever is very active and my only complaint is that the surface of the cover is slippery and my dog constantly loses his footing as the car moves.

Huge upgrade for quality of life for my dog
Fits my F150 close to perfect. Leaps and bounds better than the one I had prior. My dog goes everywhere with me but I had him on the floor and he was getting car sick. This allows him to see out the window. The sides protect not only the door panel but my window tint as well because it tends to keep him off the glass. We just went camping and it was nice to have some extra luggage space under him. It also held up well against the snow and mud he tracked in. He doesn’t seem to mind the bottom, slept just fine but I threw his bed in there so he could nap with his head on the center console more comfortably.

Great for big dogs
This is the best thing I could’ve possibly gotten for our young 70-pound GSD. She’s so much more comfortable here than in the back, and it gives her a lot more space to stretch out and lie down. No more falling off the seat! We were VERY grateful for it the two times she’s gotten sick, one of which was a gastrointestinal disaster–it was so easy to clean and disinfect, and our car itself was mess-free. This is lightweight, easy to collapse and store, and easy to set up. All we have to do is buckle her short lead into the seatbelt and she’s good to go. For rides longer than a couple of hours to and from the vet in our rural area, I plan to get her a blanket for softness but other than that, this is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made online lol.

before buying this i did some research to similar products and found this was the best by far. I wanted something that had a solid base so when my 2 border collies were in the back seat could lay or sit comfortability without falling down the sides or creating a hammock like effect. Highly recommend this product, one of my girls likes to starch the side door when the window isn’t down with the sides on this cover it helps stop her from doing so but still allowing her to have her head out the window.
