These do work, I tested, see pictures.
I had my doubts about these organizer blocks, because I have a rubber mat, not carpet. I bet the Velcro works really well on carpet. But with my rubber mats I can not test that. So, when you lay these cubes on the correct side against the rubber floor mat, they really do keep things from moving around.If you look at the pictures I added, you will see two fairly heavy boxes of canned products. I used the two cubes on one side and pushed them against the boarder of the OEM trunk organizer that I have. Then I left them there and drove around here and there over the next three days. These buggers did not move an inch.Same with some groceries I had, but neglected to get pictures. I think the key is to use the non slip pad against the floor or car mat.I may actually get another set to help with grocery trips. Would recommend.

Initially reviewed this as not functional, but I saw someone else had a better experience, so I tried it again with another car in my household (2021 kia soul). The Velcro held really strongly in that car, whereas it didn’t hold to the other carpet I tried at all (Hyundai Santa Fe). It didn’t stay in place on the rubber mat I tried it with either.They do come with adhesive velcro strips that you can put in your car to anchor them to, but that’s not how the product is advertised and it also defeats the purpose, which is to have a free-standing stopper that you can place anywhere and fit to the cargo in your trunk.You’re taking a gamble on whether these will work in your vehicle. If you have more textured, looped carpet or soft, porous rubber, they’ll likely be okay. If you have smooth carpet or hard plastic mats, these probably won’t be useful for you.
