Awesome Little Device!
I own a 2020 Kia Sportage that has a touch screen head unit but it only supports wired CarPlay. I really like using the map features when I drive so I started looking for a device that would work as a wireless receiver for my iPhone. I really wanted a way to use CarPlay features without having to plug my phone into the USB port every time I got in the car.I found this ATOTO CB4A/B device on Amazon that had good reviews so I decided to try it out. I’m super glad I did as it works great! The device itself is about the size of a deck of cards so it doesn’t take up much room on the console. I had it hooked up and working with my phone in a matter of a few minutes. I connected it to my home internet wi-fi and did the system update, that took about 15 minutes total.Now when I start my car my stereo automatically launches to the Android interface, and one touch later I’m in CarPlay. So far it is awesome!I have an ATOTO head unit (which I really like) in my other vehicle so I was confident this device would work well too. I highly recommend it for upgrading a touchscreen with wired CarPlay!

Bought this Atoto box for my Honda Pilot 2016 and it has completely upgraded my in-car experience.Setup was simple just plug-and-play.This box connects wireless automatically every time without any drops or delays. The most important part is navigation and music run smoothly, just like a factory system.Recommended !

Got it for my Toyota Camry 2019 that has Apple CarPlay but not Android Auto.Setting this up was quick and easy. It was compatible with my old android phone.Just plugged it into my USB port and it connected within minutes.Everything worked good from connecting to Google Maps to playing music from my phone.Worth every single penny!

Poor product!
This product does not work if you don’t have a touchscreen! Claims that it does, but you can’t enter a WiFi password without a touchscreen. No WiFi, zero working apps or features. Won’t even play music without WiFi connection.

ATOTO CB4B AI CarPlay Box (Wireless CarPlay + Streaming)
Installed the ATOTO CB4B on my 2016 VW Golf R with the stock head unit that already has wired CarPlay. This box does exactly what I wanted: it adds wireless CarPlay without replacing the head unit.Startup/initialization is consistent at about 30–40 seconds from engine start to the CarPlay screen launching. The built-in streaming apps (Netflix, YouTube, Disney+) play back well — performance seems limited more by the factory head unit than the CB4B itself. The CB4B is very responsive and switching between apps is quick.The main downside is the limited selection in ATOTO’s built-in app store, but you can sideload apps via a microSD card if needed.I also ordered the ATOTO OBDII add-on (AC-4450) to use with the Torque app, but I’m currently having trouble getting it to pair with the CB4B. I’ll contact ATOTO support and update this review once I have a resolution.

I picked up this CB4B AI CarPlay Box to finally ditch the cable on my factory wired CarPlay setup, and overall I’m very happy with it. It instantly turns my car’s existing screen into a wireless CarPlay/Android Auto hub without replacing the stock stereo — huge convenience on longer drives. Having YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, right on my car screen (when parked) is so much fun during breaks and road trips.

It works. Little cumbersome to get going. Very limited apps. You can’t add really it’s only the pre loaded. Screen mirror isn’t worth a flip but the rest is functional
