    Easy connect, hasn’t dropped
Have been using for a week now and works perfect. 2021 Toyota with plug-in CarPlay and iPhone 15 pro. This connects quickly, hasn’t dropped, and stayed connected through a 500+ mile road trip.

    Nice when it works
I’ve been trying these wireless CarPlay adapters to try to find one, any one, that works consistently. This one ain’t it either.Initial impressions were really good. The adapter is really small, and with USB A connector in the back, it fits very nicely against the dash. It feels solid, looks really good and I had high hopes.Initial connection to both CarPlay and my iPhone went well. Overall it connected much more easily than other adapters I have tried. So far so good.My first drive with the adapter took about 20 minutes, and about 15 minute in I noticed odd behavior. CarPlay did not respond when I tried to change my music, and changing music apps wasn’t working. There’s only so much troubleshooting you want to do at 50 MPH in traffic, so I muttered a few unpleasant phrases and waited until I got to my destination. Once stopped, I noted that nothing was working on the screen and CarPlay wasn’t responding at all.I’ve been in tech for over 45 years, so of course the next step is to reboot. I reached for the adapter to pull it out and noted immediately that it was hot! Not “scorch my fingers” hot, but hot enough for me to call it “hot” rather than “warm.” At that point the adapter went into the cupholder and my experimentation stopped. My iPhone is a 16 Pro with iOS 26.1, so maybe the new version of iOS gave the adaptor fits? Regardless, the high temperature of the adapter on a rather cool day did not give me confidence to continue. So why 3 stars when it really gave 1 star performance? I’m willing to cut it some slack because the appearance and heft of the device impressed me. I am running the newest iOS, so that could also cause challenges. I’ll hang on to it and see if any updates come down the pipe and I’ll try it again. In the meantime, back to the cable.

If you don’t have wireless CarPlay, you will love this!
This wireless CarPlay adapter is exactly what I needed for my outdated radio on a 2022 RAV4. It connected so easily, I didn’t even have to do all of the steps that were in the manual. It’s actually better than my radio because it starts right up as soon as I turn the car on, there’s no fussing with the radio and turning Bluetooth on like I normally would have to. I’ve had it now for over a month and I’ve only had a couple of connection issues, but my issues with my car radio have been far more annoying and greater. The system does lag a little, but you get used to it, it’s nothing major. All and all, it functions the way I need it to and I don’t have to have my phone plugged in all the time, which kills battery life, so I’m super happy with this device! I even bought one for my husband as a Christmas gift after he saw how well it worked!

    LIFE CHANGING! **UPDATED 12/12/25**
I would rate this product 10 stars if I could! I had Apple CarPlay installed aftermarket into my 2011 Mazda Speed 3 Turbo. I have always had issues with connectivity. (having to unplug my phone and plug it back in, etc). This can be dangerous if I lose connections and am using Apple maps and driving at the same time. I have deal with this for years with frustration. (And, taking it back to the place where I had the CarPlay installed numerous times to no avail.) so I thought this was just something I was going to have to deal with. When I received this wireless CarPlay adapter, I was a bit wary of the results it would give me. However, I was completely blown away once I took the 30 seconds to unplug the charging cable and plug into the CarPlay adapter. It is very easy to use! Immediately, on my CarPlay screen it showed me how to disconnect my Bluetooth and connect this adapter. In less than 60 seconds, my CarPlay was working perfectly, and my sound system was booming! I was beyond ecstatic!I have used Bluetooth to play music and receive phone calls in the past and have always disliked the fact that my sound system just does not sound as good via Bluetooth. I was afraid the situation was going to be the same with this adapter, but it is not! My sound system is just as crip and clear, and my bass thumps just as loud as when using the wired method of playing!Additionally, this offers peace of mind as it actually makes it safer for me to drive my car because I do not have to worry about my aftermarket CarPlay method ceasing to work while I am driving on busy roads and interstates! I have not lost connection one time with this wireless adapter. This means that my Apple Maps does not disappear while I am mid journey, causing me to either pull over or try to fumble with charging cords which obviously impairs my driving.I have nothing but positive things to say about this device! I very strongly recommend this item!***UPDATE*** I had Apple CarPlay installed aftermarket to my 2011 Mazda speed three turbo…. Even with the wired adapter, I have occasionally had issues where I will lose connectivity, or I have had to unplug and re-plug my phone into the Apple CarPlay.I noticed some people giving lower stars for this item only working some of the time. I am not taking any stars away because I do not know that this issue is due to the device. I think this issue may be due to my Apple CarPlay. Furthermore, it also may be due to the fact that it was installed aftermarket. I have uploaded a third picture. I have noticed that on occasion, while using this device, my music will stop playing. The navigation continues to work and I am able to make and receive calls without any issue. This is a problem that I have had before using this wireless device. When this issue happens, my home screen on my phone shows what is in the third picture. I have to simply select CarPlay one time and then the music resumes to play through the wireless connector. I do not know if this might be a solution to the other customers that have had connectivity issues, but wanted to post this update and I hope that it is helpful.***
