    Works Flawlessly
Instructions make it very easy to set up. In fact the quick guide was all I needed. My unit is installed in a 2023 Hyundai Tucson. It connects every time and pretty fast too. Sound quality is excellent.UPDATE: After using this device for several weeks I have had no issues with it at all. It connects flawlessly and pretty fast too each time I get in and start my car. It has an LED indicator on top informing me of its status. The sound quality is the same as a wired connection. It is very small and takes up very little room. I am extremely pleased with this wireless adaptor. It’s as if you have a built in receiver.SECOND UPDATE: I’ve been using this adaptor for months now and it has not failed me. It connects very quickly every time and the functions and sound quality is no different than the wired connection. I’m very pleased.

Does what it’s supposed to do, but one BIG caveat
I have a 2022 Toyota Corolla, and an iPhone. If I want to use Apple Carplay, I have to use a wired connection.I’ll just get this out of the way from the start. If you have a dash cam, which utilizes an app that requires a WiFi connection, you CANNOT use this adapter and the dash cam app, AT THE SAME TIME.I don’t understand why these Carplay Adapters both use a WiFi and Bluetooth connection. It would be amazing if it only used Bluetooth, but I guess the technology is not there.I use a dashcam which has an app that requires a connection to it’s own unique WiFi network in order to connect/pair with the dash cam itself. Without the WiFi connection, the dashcam app will not work. This adapter also has it’s own unique WiFi network you have to connect to in order for it to work. Obviously, you can’t be connected to two different WiFi networks at the same time.SO I have to choose between using the dascham app while driving, or using the adapter. NOW, luckily the dashcam I have will still record without the app. I tested this out. I also don’t have a major need to use the dashcam app while driving.Luckily, once you set up the adapter for the first time, if you unplug it and then re-plug it again, it quickly reconnects. So what I have to do when I want to use the dashcam app, is unplug the Carplay adapter. The reason I’m still giving this 5 stars, is that the adapter works as intended. No issues so far.

    Great car play adapter
I’ve been using a wireless CarPlay adapter for a few weeks now, and it’s been a game-changer. Setup was quick and easy — I just plugged it into the USB port, and it connected to my phone almost instantly. Now, every time I start the car, it automatically connects without any issues, which saves me the hassle of dealing with cables. The connection is very stable with little to no lag, even when streaming music or using navigation apps. The sound quality is great, and the touchscreen response is just as smooth as it was with a wired connection. I also like that the adapter is compact and doesn’t take up much space, so it keeps the car interior neat and uncluttered.Overall, this wireless CarPlay adapter has made my driving experience so much more convenient. No more fumbling with cords — just get in the car and go. If you’re tired of dealing with cables, I highly recommend this adapter!

    When it works, it’s great.
Easy install. When it works, it works ok – but there is often a lag when using Google Maps and it sometimes just puts you in the wrong location all together. If you unplug and plug it back in (sometimes a couple times), it usually will then work fine. If it was consistently working, this would be a good product.Update: Customer support of this product reached out to me due to this review to attempt to work through the issues. They insured me that they were working on updates to the product AND gave me a full refund. I will look to this company once they update the product to purchase again.

    Great Little Adapter
This is a great little adapter that makes getting into and out of the car when using CarPlay that much easier! It connects to the phone usually within 30 seconds, and has a very stable connection that has never dropped on me – even at locations where my other car with built-in wireless CarPlay disconnects due to signal interferences (usually traffic lights with wireless control systems).I’m using this in a long-term 2024 Kia EV6 rental, and the cord length is perfect to just stick the unit to the wall by the USB-A port with a Command strip – keeps it completely out of the way and not flopping around! The only minor imperfection I have found with the unit itself is using Siri just after getting into the car. The audio you had playing when you left the car doesn’t start playing again with this adapter; you have to manually start it playing. If you try to use Siri first thing after getting back into the car without first starting audio, you cannot hear Siri and it doesn’t work. It’s an easy fix though; make sure you restart your audio playing first, then using Siri works without issue. The Kia EV6 has a few quirks with the USB-A port. The port turns on as soon as you unlock the car, meaning this adapter is on and trying to connect to your phone before you’re even in the car. However, the USB-A port also turns off and then back on when you start the car, meaning that any connection that was made is now dropped, and you have to reconnect. At times this confuses the CarPlay system and it takes longer to finally connect after the car is started. If the time is short enough between unlocking and starting the car, it’s not a problem as there isn’t time for it to connect to your phone until after the car is running. The USB-A port will also remain powered for 3-5 minutes after the car is locked. It does eventually turn off, but that means if you are still in range of the car, your phone remains in CarPlay mode until then – can’t connect to other WiFi, audio is still trying to go through the car, etc.
