A genuinely impressive sunshade — not something I expected to say about a sunshade.
I’ll admit my expectations were modest going in. After years of flimsy bubble-wrap-style shades, I was caught off guard by the weight of the package alone. This is clearly a premium product, and it shows.The construction is unlike anything I’ve used before. The shade appears to be made from a type of rigid board insulation — closer in feel to MDF than the foil-and-foam you typically see. One side is highly reflective, while the interior facing side is finished in a soft, matte black fabric. The edges are cleanly wrapped in fabric as well, so there’s no risk of scratching the dashboard during installation or removal.That rigidity is the standout feature. Traditional sunshades flop and fold on themselves the moment you try to maneuver them into place. This one holds its shape, making installation notably easier and less frustrating. It’s a small thing, but it makes a real difference in daily use.The tradeoffs are worth noting: it is heavier than a standard shade, and its thickness means it takes up more storage space. That said, it comes with a carry bag to keep it protected and clean, and it feels durable enough that I have no concerns about keeping it in the cargo area of my RAV4.Overall, I’m very impressed and plan to pick one up for each of my other vehicles.

Exceptional Quality and Perfect Fit
This custom fit windshield cover exceeded my expectations.The first thing that I noticed when I received this is that it is very high quality as compared to any windshield covers I’ve had in the past. It is solid, not flimsy, and has an underlayment that is felted making it look and feel luxurious. The outer reflective design and solid nature of the shade should also keep your interior much cooler in the summer months.Installation is, of course, very simple and is aided by two smaller end flaps that allow you to block lights from the far sides of the windshield. The fit is perfect, and the sun shade nearly blacked out the interior of my Rav4.If you are not protecting your dash with a sun shade, do it now. The effect of the sun on the interior of your car over years can be significant. If you have a cheaper sunshade (as I did) consider upgrading to a higher quality sunshield like this one for the best protection.Prior to receiving this, I really never thought about the quality of my sunshade or how much (or little) light it really managed to block. I’m super impressed and will definitely use this daily.

Shields Great. Not easy to use.
I was so happy to find a custom sun shield for my Rav4. This shade fits perfectly. It came in a long box and was in a fabric case which can be used to store it. It is foil lined on the side that goes next to the window with a velvet black back. It is a bit awkward to unfold as compared to the old sun shades that fold up into a circle. But it covers the window a whole lot better. It is also harder to store. Although the write up shows a person getting the sun shades out of the back of his car we know in reality that’s not how it works. Most of us throw our sun shades in the back seat or under a front seat. This one must be folded up and the back seat is the only place it will go (besides the back of the car). That can be awkward if you have people (even children) or dog in the back seat. Maybe it will get easier to use as we get used to it. It works great (shielding the interior of the car from the sun) which is a huge plus for someone who lives in Arizona and is facing the summer heat. I am glad I have it.

REALLY good sunshade!!
This shade is absolutely wonderful! It is very (and I mean VERY) sturdy! It won’t bend if something heavy is accidentally put on the center of it, which I love because my kids don’t care what they step on to get to where they want in the car.Although I don’t have thr rav 4 it’s intended for, I checked the front window size and it was close enough that I gave it a shot! And it works great! I keep the two ends (like little flaps almost to cover a small section of the front window) folded in for the most part as it fits the window fine that way. I can extend them out to further cover the windshield by the time isn’t worth it.If you have the Rav4 it’s intended for (I tried it on my nieces new Rav4) and it fits fabulously! It’s easy to put up and take down in seconds, and really does fit like a glove.I would still purchase this sunshade again because of how solid it is! All the others I have have been destroyed within a week.. this one is holding on strong. Absolutely recommend. The quality is amazing! The price is fair considering the extra life this shade will provide.
