Essential mod & upgrade
Great price, quality and overall value. This is a must have modification for 4Runner owners. For some reason the OEM interior lightbulbs are unusually dim. This upgrade produces a pleasant, clean white light that makes the interior of your car look crisp and clear. At night, or in dark environments, the glow feels comforting since it leaves no blind spots or shadows around bigger vehicles. Easy to install, immediate noticeable results, just follow the instructions carefully (there’s tons of videos online), and use the proper tools (molding/trim remover).As with anything else, sometimes you get a dud or two, so the company adds a few extra bulbs to avoid the hassle of shipping you new ones.

Worth it
Purchased these lights for my 4runner almost 2 years ago. The lights are nice and bright. Lifespan may not be as long, but they definitely have excellent customer service. Contacted them a few days ago and informed them about a few bulbs that had gone out. Easy replacement process and never had any fitment issues with the bulbs. Will purchase again since they have great customer service.

So far so good. My interior is way brighter now. The trim removal tool it comes with is trash. You might want to invest in some quality trim removal tools.

Great LEDs for the price
Bought these to update the inside of my 5th gen 4Runner and get a bit more visibility inside. The lights are a nice cool white (appear a bit blue in my pics), much better than the standard yellow lights that came stock. After install, I’m very pleased with the look. Install was easy enough with the included pry bar, though I wish the tips of the bar didn’t bend quite so much. Still, it did the job. I definitely recommend looking up an installation guide, as the package only comes with the LEDs, pry bar, and a brief rundown on what is what. The package also includes 3 lights for the glove box and from foot wells, but I essentially ignored them and kept them as spares. The glove box light is not a quick project, as my understanding is you have to remove part of the glove box to access the light module, and really is not necessary. All in all, great value, and I’m looking forward to how the bulbs continue to run as I put a few hours on them.

These LEDs are legit good! So much better in every way from the halogens. Pretty easy install with the exception of the stock map lights. Those halogen bulbs were a bit tough to get out. I had to wrap them in gorilla tape to pull them out without breaking them. Everything else was very quick and easy. I hope they last.

Completely changed the interior look! Fit and worked perfect!
Installed these in a 2019 TRD Off Road Premium. Installation took a couple of hours. Time was mostly spent carefully making sure I didn’t damage the lenses trying to pop them off and trying to get the original bulbs out of their tiny recessed sockets.I’ve seen reviews saying a bunch of the LEDs didn’t work…. Here’s the deal, LED lights are polarity specific. Your old original incandescent lights are not. You can take your old bulb out, rotate it 180 degrees, plug it back in, and it will still work. LEDs are not like that. Every time you install one of these LED bulbs, you have a 50/50 chance it will light up. If it doesn’t light up, take it out, flip it over and plug it back in. Now it’ll work.Front map lights were the hardest to remove, as the original bulbs are buried deep into the reflectors and my fingers don’t fit in there. I had to use needle nose pliers with tape wrapped around the ends to get them out. If you do this, WEAR EYE PROTECTION. You squeeze a little too hard, and those glass bulbs will break. I doubt you want glass in your eyes.For the door panel lights, I disassembled all four at the same time. Plugged the LEDs into the bases, and then tested them all by plugging the base into the truck before reassembling them.For the back seat dome light, you have to slightly bend one of the tabs that holds the bulb. These tabs suspend the bulb holding it in place with tension. The factory bulb is slightly longer, so just bend the tab a tiny bit to keep tension on the new LED bulb.This kit came with enough bulbs for every interior light, plus some. My Toyota was not equipped with a glove compartment light or footwell lights, so I ended up with three extra LED bulbs. Maybe the limited or one of the luxury trim levels has those lights.So far I’m very happy with the product. I hope they last.

These bulbs improve the interior lighting of my 2012 Toyota 4 Runner immensely. I had to find YouTube videos that show how to change some of the bulbs. Wow what a difference! This took the interior light from a dim yellow to a bright white!

Youtube instructions were a little hard to follow on brand new vehicles probably because the plastic housings are still really tight.In terms of LED performance it works really well. There was 1 faulty led light that did not work, but there was enough spare to replace it so I still ended up with a full working LED set.Happy with the purchase.
