Works great! Only thing I would say is to make sure you have the volume low when getting into the car and starting your music because if it’s not on a proper station, the sound it makes is a little jarring.

Would not synch to my car
Unfortunately, this item would not synch to my car-Ford Focus. Regardless of which USB port I used, my car could not “find” it so I returned this Blue Tooth Car Kit receiver.

I got this for my car that had Bluetooth calling but not Bluetooth audio. It works great. Just plugged it in and ran a cable from the headphone jack on the unit directly to the audio input in the car. And tadaa Bluetooth audio. The sound is great, the connection is stable and the most important part it is easy. Simple plug in and connect. Highly recommend if you later model car that has the Bluetooth calling but not the audio.

My second car is older and doesn’t have CarPlay or any of the good stuff. It doesn’t even have Bluetooth but does have a USVB. Go figure. So I got this and it works great! It paired easily with the radio and now I can listen to my music without having to plug in a cable every time.

It Just Didn’t Work
My wife drives a Dodge Journey and the radio does have built in bluetooth; however, it is kind of flaky. Sometimes her phone just will not connect to it. There are times that it will connect to it and disconnect. It turns out this is a problem with the car in general.So it does have a USB input as well as CD. I wanted to buy her something she could use immediately without replacing the head unit. I didn’t want to use the cigarette adapter and a radio station because of random interference. Then this popped up as I searched. From what I saw about it. This was going to be the perfect solution. It connected almost immediately to the phone and saw it as a output for audio and calls. I started a playlist and went to the cars USB input/source and it didn’t show active. I disconnected and reconnected it several times. I paired and unpaired it numerous times. The only thing I didn’t do was to try and use it with the cable for an AUX like input. Our phones don’t have a a 3.5mm jack and we no longer have USB C to 3.5mm dongles.
