Easy to use and seems much better quality than I’m used to
Works great! A bit over priced but if it lasts I’ll keep it at 5 stars. Fit good but not great. The wand part is slightly too long for my window to dash but my mirror holds it in place so I’m good with it. Covers the whole window, very easy to use, very easy to remove, seems sturdy, will find out if our actually keeps my vehicle cooler tomorrow.

GREAT sunblock cover!!!
This windshield sunblock cover replaces those twist up/twist down round thingies that never twisted back down correctly nor did much good. This one WORKS, and it is a breeze to install. I have a dash cam,but that is not a problem with this umbrella-type rectangular shade. We had quite a heat wave these last few days up here in New England, and this cover made a noticable difference. If course your car has to face the sun in order for this to work.It pops open like an umbrella, but not so hard that it knocks your mirror out of whack. It then slides nicely around the mirror and my dash cam mount. It does keep the camera inside which is not a bad thing in blazing sunlight. Tabs with velcro finish the sunblock.Takedown is just as easy: undo the velcro tabs, push the button, and it folds down neatly just like an umbrella would.Then just twist the fabric around the shaft and slide it in the sleeve.I love that thing! It is such a time saver, it is effective, and my interior is protected .

Keeps my car cooler also kept the rain off my dog and I.
I love my windshield shade so easy to put in place and take down. I’ve even used it as an umbrella while walking my dog. lol it worked great

Great sun shade
Love this umbrella sun shade. Purchased the first one when I lived in Texas and found it incredibly helpful in keeping the interior of my car cooler in the summer. Easy to use, packs up nicely when not in use. Great value for the money.

Cooler Car, but Quality Issues
It does keep the car MUCH cooler but it’s not the easiest thing to put up under your windshield but it’s not that hard either. My issue is that one of the little rods poked right through the fabric when fully stretched out so I have to deal with that. Happened in the first week of use too! Once you get the hang of it, it’s quite useful though. I just wish it was easier to use and was higher quality, which I expected for $39.I don’t understand all the 5 star reviews. This is not well made. The quality is sub par and it certainly does not look nice and flat when stretched out like it does in the product photos. Even when fully extended it’s floppy. It does the job but it’s not what I expected based on all the wonderful “reviews”. Think twice before buying. Just know that it’s not the quality nor functionality I expected at all. This is solidly a 3-star product at best.

No gimmicks, straight forward, easy to use, super effective!
I live in Indianapolis, IN the Summer weather + humidity is pretty brutal. I drive a Chevy Equinox. This product not only is a ease to setup (think flat umbrella) its a noticeably cooler difference. With windows down and this deployed in windshield you dont feel like your being cooked alive. Is definitely more superior to other products i have used in the past. The thing i found most interesting is the dash doesnt heat up. its a noticeble difference of being able to touch both the dash and most importantly the steering wheel without having to visit the hospitals burn unit.

Meh…not worth the price
This is just ok. It doesn’t significantly keep car any cooler than any other sunshade. I give it 2 stars because the umbrella like mechanism makes it easy to use and fold back up. However, even though the “Amazon fit” guide said it would fit my car, it is actually too big across and doesn’t fit perfectly in the windshield, which negatively affects the coverage provided. I’m not sure whatever the nonsense was about layers that provide the cooling, but it is one layer of material like any other sunshade. So overall, not worth the price of this. Just get something cheaper that will do the same thing.
