Bright LEDs, just enough for one side of the dash
TLDR: easy to install, bright colors, strips are true to size so make sure they work for your layoutIf you’re chasing that modern ambient-lighting look, this kit delivers a lot for the price. The colors are vivid, and you get app control with hundreds of effects/modes, plus options like music/sound sync and a zoned control setup so you can adjust sections independently instead of everything being one color.I like that it’s designed as a universal 12V interior kit (via plug in fuse), so it works for most cars as long as you’re willing to do a clean cable route and take your time on placement.A couple practical notes before you buy:- Placement can be limited by wiring harness length, so mock it up before you stick anything down.- If your dash has a rough texture, you may need extra prep or reinforcement as the adhesive can be finicky on textures.- The music mode can be a little sensitive depending on volume and cabin noise.Bottom line: Great upgrade for a custom interior glow and “night drive” vibes. Just take the time to plan the layout and cable management so it looks clean.

Stunning .. but extremely challenging set-up
These acrylic LED strips provide a vibrant & fluid illumination that accentuates the architectural lines of my vehicle’s interior with modern flair. The technology allows for a sophisticated spectrum of transitions & hues that can be tailored to match one’s mood or driving environment & accessible via their functional app. The slim profile of the acrylic housing ensures a professional, factory-installed appearance that avoids the cluttered look of inferior lighting solutions, lending a desired custom design. With that said, I cannot seem to figure out the install entirely on my own. My closest friend is my DIY electrician guide, so he is attempting to install it. The instructions are unclear, and from what I’ve gathered, I must hook up the LED wires to my car battery? Idk, I am pretty much a complete novice with this stuff. However, I have done a complete speaker, amp, subwoofer & zero gauge wire install on my own without issue in the past .. this set I would not recommend for anyone with minimal or no experience. It’s been a headscratcher to say the least.

Bright Custom Car Lights with Endless Options
These lights are seriously bright and make the car interior look next level. The app control is smooth and easy to use with tons of colors and patterns to choose from. The music sync feature is fun and reacts fast, especially with bass heavy tracks. Installation takes a bit of time if you want it clean, but it’s worth it once you see the glow. I used mine under the dash but it could also work great for a gaming desk setup. For around $35, it’s a solid value for the brightness and features you get.

Very nice, very thin, but it’s only enough for the dash
This is a very nice kit for adding ambient lighting to an older car. This is NOT a complete kit. It’s clear when you first open the box, there isn’t a lot of strip included. There are 2 strips, the long one is just under 43″ and the short one just under 10″. When you look at the illustration in the included installation manual, it shows you can add up to 4 door sub-modules, so it’s clear that this is only enough for the dash – a long piece for majority of the dash and a short piece for the bit between steering column and door. I assume the strips can be cut without messing them up, but there are no indicators of safe cutting points as you often find on conventional RGB strips. What’s important to me is that it’s very thin, so I can wedge it between dash pieces without being too obvious or damaging the car. Fortunately, my vintage 90s GM car doesn’t have tight tolerances so the 1.69mm thick strip fit without much effort. The visible portion of the acrylic is about 1mm thick. It’s visible when off, but not too obvious thanks to its thinness. The strip looks great when it’s on, it’s very bright and vibrant. I didn’t test it in bright sunlight, but I think it gets plenty bright. The lighting is very evenly diffused with no obvious bright spots. It’s reasonably durable, I’ve wedged it into several potential installation spots and pulled it back out, no signs of damage. I’m still not sure where I ultimately want it, so I haven’t tested the included adhesive. The control module itself has 2 zones and can control up to 4 door sub-modules. It comes with a Y cable as the 2 included strips are intended to be on the same zone. It has a welcome sequence that can be disabled in the app if you prefer. It comes with a button for changing modes and colors which works okay, but the phone app has so many more options. The module does remember its last settings via button or app, so it will return to what it was last set to even if it loses power. The module has a separate trigger input that you can connect to the headlight circuit so it only comes on with headlights, or you can wire it to ignition to always come on. The only thing I’d fault the module on, is that it has no provisions for a separate day/night mode. I’d like it bright in the daytime so I can see it in sunlight, but dim at night so it’s visible, but not blinding. Seems like that would be a common-sense feature. There were a number of QR codes included in the manual, on a sheet of paper, and on the control module itself which installed different Android apps. I think I tried 3 total. Only the one called Cardi Magic worked, the other two did not. They must have different suppliers of control boxes that need different apps. Cardi Magic connects easily via Bluetooth, but it does need to be restarted every time power is removed from the LED module as the app doesn’t auto-reconnect. There’s a vast number of different color modes, ability to set presets, brightness, and speed of effects.Overall, I think this is a very nice kit if all you need is enough for the dash. The lack of a day/night mode to me is a pretty big flaw, but if you don’t need it to automatically reduce brightness at night, then that shouldn’t be an issue.

All love for these lights.
I ordered these lights to use on my 2022 CMX1100 ABS by Honda. We set these up on our supper table in order to get some video of them and to see how well they work and our whole family was amazed at how good they look and behave. If you are looking for great street effect lights for your Dry Ride Only Bike, or car interior, these are the lights for you. Great app which is easy to use and a manual set of buttons to switch on/off and to changed mode settings. I am thinking of ordering a lot more of them for the interior of my classic Nova for shows.Easy to useEasy to SetupLook GREAT
