Easy installation
Great product, install was easy. Just remove your current grill, unscrew the speaker for easy access and fish the cable down past the vent duct. Pull off the panel under the steering wheel for easy access pull the cable down connect it to the adapter and plug it in. Didn’t need to program anything.A couple of things on operation. RPM gauge disappears at 50 mph. For some reason a warning light comes on at 74 mph. In addition I have seen a couple reviews saying the the mph is off, it is. But judging by the amount that it is off, I would assume that has to do with increased tire size, I have a tazer on mine to compensate, but it may be getting the information before the tazer compensates, so only a factory tires, or maybe a re-flash might work.

Useful product
Works well, fits perfect & easy to install. Only issue is I live in NJ where we have inspection stickers right where it projects on the windshield but can be overcome with a little thought. Looks factory. I like that it immediately shows the voltage when door is open before starting. Also the complaints in the other reviews can be taken care of by reading the instructions, speed can be adjusted and RPMs can be on all the time!

2 out of 2 were dangerous and displayed a huge variance of actual speed. Would also blackout and stop working out of nowhere.

I can’t even hang a picture straight. I followed the installation video. The unit was installed and working in 10 minutes, crazy how easy it was. Looks bright and worked great in the test drive. Pretty cool and unique addition for your JL.
