    Fantastic adapter
Easy to hook up and the sound quality is great. Connected via Bluetooth quickly and have had no issues whatsoever. I’m using it on a 2012 Acura after disconnecting the malfunctioning Bluetooth module and installing a dashboard Apple Play unit. The UGreen has been working seamlessly with it and I’m very pleased.

    Fast Reliable Bluetooth Connection
I purchased this adapter to use in my Honda fit. The car does not have Bluetooth so I wanted to find something that works well and not the ultra cheap Bluetooth receivers either. After some research I found this adapter and have been very happy so far. There are two versions of this adapter from ugreen, a slightly less expensive one that supports a slightly lower bandwidth connection that uses SBC and this one that used LDAC. I have not purchased the cheaper one, but this one works very well and am satisfied. The connection of my phone to the Bluetooth is one of the best features of this device. When I start my car, the connection is immediate and flawless, followed by a voice that says “connected”. The quality of the audio is fantastic and is much better than when I was using a USB stick.Overall I think that for the price (as a prime member) is fair for the device and we will see how it holds up overtime.

    great sound with Pixel 7
so, I had a 1mii LDAC unit with the built in battery and manual on/off switch that recently died suddenly.back to Amazon to change my review, find out the unit is “unavailable”. this is typical of these cheap Chinese units where they just change the description to “YEAR updated!” and when the seller eventually gets banned they will set up shop with another seller. This ugreen unit interested me in that it has no battery, which is what I believe failed in the 1mii unit. This device literally powers on when your vehicle is on, which is great because good luck hearing anything from the vehicle speakers with the key off and removed! The hardest thing you will have to do is peal off the sticky plastic wrap from both connecter ends. After that you’re good to plug it in.Connected effortlessly to the center console of my 2013 Honda Pilot where conveniently the aux port and usb port exist nearby each other. Really didn’t need the silly long coiled cord but some vehicles maybe could benefit.I cannot remember if this unit defaulted to LDAC mode with my Pixel 7 but I use an app called Bluetooth Codec Changer by “AmrG DEV”. It lets you change the specifics of the connection to any bluetooth device you are currently connected to and then you can save that profile so it will default to that. Perfect because LDAC technically has 4 quality settings. Since being very close proximity to this unit in vehicle, you can safely default to the highest quality stream of 990kbps bitrate. I believe android defaults to the adaptive best effort stream quality which varies between low, medium and high as it sees fit, and you will never know what it is actually doing. The app prevents you from having to go into developer settings every single time you connect to the unit to reset your preferred connection quality.alright, enough rambling, time to blast some HIFI FLAC files while I drive.

Works, no issues. Could be better hardware design…
I’m using it in a 2007, pre-LCI BMW e90 series. I have a 12v power adapter that I plug this into for power, which is right next to the aux input in the center armrest. The 12v power comes on with the car and turns off with the car, no drain. The phone connects automagically each and every time. Flip my CCC idrive over to aux input and BLAMMO! it sounds great! The reason for 3.5 stars is mostly physical – the wiring is thin, so logitivity might be an issue and they should have made it with the jack on both ends so the cord could be replaceable (maybe this was intentional design?). 4 stars though for the output and connectivity. So overall I’ll give it the 4 stars.P.S. If you have a CCC like me there is finally a magnetic phone holder that clips onto the middle vent area and works really well to hold the phone. It does obscure the accessory window, but I have that turned off anyway.

Awesome value and Sound compared to past solutions
This thing is awesome and easy to install on my 2008 Honda Odyssey Touring. This thing is almost the equivalent features of the current day vans minus the Bluetooth capability of playing music. Now I have that for 15 bucks. This takes away the need for a USB-C splitter, Which from my experience pretty much all have poor feedback and sound quality. Even in my 2014 Acura RDX, its Bluetooth isn’t this good.

    Almost Perfect
Previously used the Tunai Firefly which mysteriously no longer exists. This one works just as good. Main 2 things for me is that it is powered by the car and not by battery so it doesn’t need to charge, and that it automatically turns on and connects when I turn the car on. It checks both of those boxes.Only slight downer is I don’t like that it says “connected” through the speakers, I wish I could turn that off, it not 100% transparent due to that. Old one didn’t do that.

Perfect for older cars. 2010 Toyota Prius.
I purchased this adapter to use in my 2010 Toyota Prius that doesn’t have Bluetooth. The setup took seconds and it connects to my Android phone right away when I start the car.It remembers my phone so I don’t have to do anything but get in the car and go. Since my 3.5mm jack is right next to my USB pug in the center counsel the cord length is not an issue for me. I recommend this for anyone looking for a cheap easy fix to an old car with a new phone.

  8. Matthew Shortt

I was skeptical, but for the price I figured I’d try it.I’m very impressed with this device! The sound is clear, no lag, and the person I’m calling can hear me loud and clear.Highly recommend!Just to make it clear. The rectangular grey part is what plugs into a USB-A port. Very sleek design!
